Anyone know if there are codes to order the Front lower Fascia with fog lights, dark stainless grill, and the 19" foundry wheels? I know you can order them from the ford build site, but I am going through AAFES and I don't see any of this stuff on their order guide. Oh and side scoops without having to get a package?
Or will I have to buy all this after the fact?

I talked to my dealer today. He said that he had good news and bad news. Bad news was that he did not have his allotment to order a 2011 gt premium, so my car was not ordered. He did also tell me that I am the first order for the 2012's, which he is anticipating a feb/march delivery. He said the price increase was about $500 from the 11's to the 12"s, but he will give me 2011 pricing. (so basically he's taking our negotiated price for the 2011 and applying it to the 2012. he said he was good with getting rid of the $500 increase for the newer model.
What this means in theory is i'll be getting a 2012 for the price of the 2011.
My concern was the incentives for the 2011, and the fact that i'll be loosing them cause they wont be there for the 2012's. Again, he said that i would get the 2011 incentives.??? really?? ok, now my dealer is a friend, and i will believe all of this when i see it, but i have never been wronged by this guy before. Crossing my fingers and hoping it all happens like i was told. As far as the delivery date goes, i was looking at Jan delivery with the 2011 when the order was suppose to go in, but Feb/March would be better for me, with all the snow and all.

It has been quiet for a while... Any news or pictures yet for the 2012?
I know they usually reveal at an Auto show, does anyone know when the 2012 GT500 will be unvealed? With the Boss 302 already out and orders placed, they cant wait too much longer for the GT500. I know that not much has changed, but would be nice to see what the new options look like.

I will not order my 2012 Lava Red until I see the color in person, but this is the quote I got... 2012 mustang GT premium, 6 speed, spoiler delete, 3.55 rear, security package total with delivery MSRP $34985, discounted price $32750 is that good???

I was just on the Ford site messing around with the build tool and noticed the CS front fascia, GT500 rear fascia, and dark stainless grill are now individual options. Were these available as individual options for 2011 or are they new for 2012? I know they were available in packages. And does anyone know if you order the dark stainless grill does the grill surround come painted to match the car like on the CS? Also it's not specific about moving the fog lights to the CS fascia, is that automatic when ordering a GT since they have fog lights on the grill? Does anyone have a good photo of the dark stainless grill?

I ordered them from the parts dept when I placed the Mustang order. I believe you could always get them as individual options. I am not sure about the grill surround. The grill fog lights will be removed when you add the stainless. I got the front fascia with the fog lights (different size). Same as C/S edition. I paid about $260 for grill and $280 for lower fascia. Dealer said they would install for free for me. Good luck. There is pics in the pics section of a Kona 2011 that has both of these, it looks awsome!

They are just showing availability of the items as Ford Accessories. The parts on the website aren't installed at the factory, they're installed at the dealer. They can be installed prior to delivery.

I don't remember seeing that on the Ford build your car site before. The picture even changes with the added items. Isn't this new, have you looked at this? Maybe it was there before and I missed it???

If you're looking to add accessories that aren't painted, I strongly suggest you buy them after you purchase the vehicle and install them yourself or have them installed. You can easily find them for 20% off MSRP if you shop around, and get them shipped within a day or so. On top of that, you don't pay interest on any of those parts if not rolled into the loan.

Thanks guys I obviously missed that. My second Boss deal is looking iffy but I already have another backup. If I need a third and it falls out I'll go back to plan A and order up a 2012 5 DOT 0 pretty close to what Sparky ordered.

Lava interior can only be ordered with the Lava, Ebony and Performance White exterior paint, and only in the 400A and the V6 202A, 204A w/18G and 4-Leather

First...hi everyone, I just joined and hopefully going to get my first Mustang!
I am very upset they got rid of the Grey color...I was just about to make this car (except I decided to change grill to stainless):
So they tell me they stopped ordering 2011's. So, now I turn to 2012's. So, I'm intrigued by the new Lava Red color...but I need to see it. That may be a fair trade for grey (hopefully), but the other thing I DID NOT see in the 2012 order guide (at top) was the 5 spoke chrome wheels (see pic above)...are they not doing those anymore? They are not shown in the wheel pictures??? They were killer! So if they also got rid of those wheels I"m really going to be pissed at FORD. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Are you just going on faith with the Lava color? Also, curious what you ended up paying...did you estimate invoice price and factory holdbacks and such in your dealings?

Since their website is not updated, I'm having Ford send me a 2012 brochure. I see in the 2011, those 5 spokes chrome wheels are under "Accessory Wheels"...so maybe they will still have them.
I"m excited about seeing Lava Red, but I'm amazed how many are ordering a car sight unseen!
I'm also undecided about glass roof...is it worth paying 2000 bucks for something that is cool...but might get old, say if you have a headache or just want it dark for some reason but it's sunny outside. Not to mention when it's 100+ in the summertime and sun bearing down + black interior? Hmm...would almost rather use that 2000 for my exhaust and intake kits.
