I wonder if our Ford Customer Service rep can shed some light on the subject?
Hey Five Oh Brian, i kno it was done once before on here somewhere (possibly by you), if u have the time could you post the options and packages u see in the order banks so we have at least something to start with. Thanks man.

I tried this morning to go into CONCEPTS and see the packages. the 2013 is not in there yet.
Brian, iN CONCEPTS, I put in 13 for year, tabbed to Body code and hit F1 for help and Mustang isn't listed. Only Edge, Explorer, Taurus, Flex and Expedition are listed for body types available. Mustang isn't there yet. Knowing Ford, it should be there in a short while (before the guides are released).
I'll check back in a few hours everyone!
Like Jeff, I checked several times today for order guides and the opening of the order banks in Ford's system. With the 2012 Mustang order banks recently being extended several weeks (from 12/23 to 1/12), I suspect that suggests that the 2013 Mustang order banks are being delayed by a similar amount of time (3 weeks). If my assumption is correct, then 2013 ordering will likely begin on 12/26.
On a side note, the 2013 order banks are accessible, so I can look into them to see colors & optional equipment. However, there is no pricing, nor can an order actually be submitted to check for equipment compatability with other options.
You can count on Jeff & I to keep looking daily and posting up info as it becomes available.

Five Oh Brian can you see if there are color restrictions? Is School Bus Yellow only available on the LS?
Color options for the regular Boss 302 include School Bus Yellow, Grabber Blue, Gotta Have It Green, Performance White, and Race Red.
The Laguna Seca will be available in School Bus Yellow or Black, both of which will have gray-trimmed spoilers, mirror caps, grilles, wheels, and interior cross-braces
So The LS comes with Sterling Grey Reflective stripes and the Regular Boss comes with Black reflective stripes...And YES! Both versions come in SBY!!! PLUS The stripes on the Regular Boss go up and over and down the hood....like the Green one from the SpeedTV video a while back

Hello guys,
As we all know, these dates are subject to change and now we are looking at the end of the month for order banks. I still recommend you keep in touch with your dealers if you are interested in ordering a 2013. I can't wait to see all of the new options, colors, and packages! We have some Super Duper guys on this thread helping us out too.
Well, let the waiting continue...

A peek at the 2013 Mustang options courtesy of Five Oh Brian as posted in the "2013 MY Refresh" thread:
Here are the '13 Mustang colors (GT & V6) right from the order banks...
CI = GRABBER BLUE
HD = GOTTA HAVE IT GREEN
HP = PERFORMANCE WHITE
J4 = DEEP IMPACT BLUE
PQ = RACE RED
RZ = RED CANDY TINT
UA = BLACK
UJ = STERLING GRAY
UX = INGOT SILVER
The '13 Mustang order banks show the same exact interior codes on the 401A Equipment Group as '12 (same is true of the 402A California Special).
What's different on the '13 V6 & GT interior is the option for Recaro seats (option code UW for base V6/GT models and option code SW for premium V6/GT models). Both are noted as dark charcoal in the order banks...
BASE RECARO DARK CHARCOAL
300A GT's show two different Brembo Options (the 55D Brembo Package we already have in '11 and '12, plus a new one that might be more race/track oriented)...
55D = BREMBO BRAKE PK
55R = BREMBO BR RAC (could that be an abbreviation for Brembo Brake Race?).
300A GT's also get a new option for a Torsen Limited Slip Axle...
458 = 3.73 LTD W/TORSEN
Ford is introducing a 301A GT for 2013 that includes a Basic SYNC package and some technology goodies (as coded below), but remains simple with a cloth interior. I have no idea what the Tech Pkg includes....
17D = SYNC PACKAGE
68T = TECH PACKAGE
400A GT shows a manual seat option (perhaps it's required when you select the Recaro seats?) and new stereo option, as well as the Torsen axle and the two different Brembo Packages as noted above....
21B = MANUAL DRIVER SEAT
918 = SHAKER PRO
458 = 3.73 LTD W/TORSEN
55D = BREMBO BRAKE PK
55R = BREMBO BR RAC
401A GT shows similar options as the other GT's for '13 (no manual seat or Recaros, though)...
918 = SHAKER PRO
458 = 3.73 LTD W/TORSEN
55D = BREMBO BRAKE PK
55R = BREMBO BR RAC
402A California Special is only showing the new stereo option for '13. 402A's are not available with the Recaro seats, manual driver's seat, torsen axle, or brake upgrades....
918 = SHAKER PRO
402A California Special is limited to the following colors in '13....
HP = PERFORMANCE WHITE
J4 = DEEP IMPACT BLUE
PQ = RACE RED
UA = BLACK
UJ = STERLING GRAY
UX = INGOT SILVER

You're correct that F1 won't pull up the 13 Mustang in CONCEPS. However, if you simply just type in the body code you want (i.e. P8C for GT Coupe) instead of hitting F1, then you'll be rewarded with the different equipement groups (300A, 400A, etc.), the ability to F1 for colors & options, etc. It's a loophole I learned long ago to gain access to the upcomoing model year's info very early before order guides are out.

As ThrustangFiveO mentioned in another thread, ford changes pictures in its official website. I notice the changes, especially for V6 pony package. Previous pictures of pony are just like those spy shots, chrome surround grill without pony embedded. But the new pictures remove the chrome surround and put pony embed back. A good move.
This makes me thinking that Ford doesn't complete the final touch of 2013 mustangs. It is possible the final release version of order guide is still on process. So does the brochure.
We probably have to wait longer than expected.

You are correct that when you hit enter, you'll get the error message that you noted above and the completed order won't display and price. However, being able to F1 the items I listed above sheds a lot of light on what's in the order guides even though the order guides aren't out yet. That's how I got all the insights that ThrustangFiveO listed above.
Jeff, the loophole I'm referring to is still open. Put P8C in the body space, put in an order start #, quantity, order end #, order type, and priority code. When you get to the pep code, color & interior spaces, hit F1 on each for a list of possibilities. Tab down to the "add" spaces for options and hit F1 to see the possible options for the pep code you've selected.
