Hi Deysha, I sent you a PM too, but had a question about Red Candy and the cloth top options. I really want that color, but have been told it's on hold indefinately. My dealer also told me that the cloth top was no longer an option. Any idea if either or both of these are true? Thanks!

First...hi everyone, I just joined and hopefully going to get my first Mustang!
I am very upset they got rid of the Grey color...I was just about to make this car (except I decided to change grill to stainless):
So they tell me they stopped ordering 2011's. So, now I turn to 2012's. So, I'm intrigued by the new Lava Red color...but I need to see it. That may be a fair trade for grey (hopefully), but the other thing I DID NOT see in the 2012 order guide (at top) was the 5 spoke chrome wheels (see pic above)...are they not doing those anymore? They are not shown in the wheel pictures??? They were killer! So if they also got rid of those wheels I"m really going to be pissed at FORD. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

You can order Sterling Grey again as they have run out of Lava Red paint due to the Japanese earthquake/tsunami. Sterling is the replacement for Lava Red. Orders are already being taken for Job 2!

I ordered a Mustang about two months ago and have not even gotten a build date yet? Does any one know when the last build date is for the 2012 GT? Also has anyone heard about a problem in getting the NAV system in the Mustang?

My name is Deysha with Ford Customer Service. The last build date for the Mustang in general is more than likely the beginning of next year. Also, right now there are no issues with the Nav Systems in them on retail orders. I’ll be more than happy to look into your order for you. Not sure if it belongs in this thread, but...
Did Sonic Blue get pushed back/canceled for the Mustang? It isn't mentioned in the new Order Guide, nor is it mentioned on any website with a configurator, so that is why I'm asking. I was looking for ward to seeing it on this bodystyle.

My answer to your question is ..yes... I think so. I just ordered a new GT and picked up a brochure in the showroom. Sonic Blue and Sterling Gray are both shown in the available color chart as late availability.

Really? Huh. I would have thought we'd have heard something by now. Its available on the Focus, so that is partly why I'm asking.

I'm 90% sure its coming, I just couldn't give you an idea of when. When it gets here, though, I just hope Ford sees fit to give us a a seperate gate, paddles, or preferably both, and NOT the selector-mounted toggle switch found on the F-series, Focus, and Fusion. That just screams 'cheap' to me, and the critics don't much care for them either.
