All trunks have some sort of manual release by law, though crawling in through the back seat to pop the child safety latch might be less than fun. The good news is that trunk-poppers use VERY small amounts of juice. Even if you battery is too dead to start your car it may still have enough to pop the trunk.

ahh...you got me there.

I must say though...for everyone employed by GM, I hope the camaro comes out soon and does well. That may be the only thing that can save GM.

Remember Ford had to change the 2010 because of similarities to the Camaro. So there must have been a lot of 2010 Stang in the Camaro too, even if it was by accident.

sequential was confirmed to me by Saleen's CEO, but it was unknown if it was standard or an option. He also said that the rear end was the only ugly part of the car and that Saleen will probably be changing it

Nice pic - lots more flow to the car now - the rear badge is even better shaped/formed. Looks more like art than something made out of lego's with all the squares.

I just hope FMC is still around to build a new Stang in 3 years when I want to buy another one.........

LOL I was thinking the same thing. I would cruise with a good friend who had a '77 Celica Sport Hatch.

Is it just me, or does the fitment of that rear taillight look really bad? Maybe it's just the angle and the shadows, but it doesn't look very precise.

I think it's a bad side-effect of the low angle shot.

I think what you're seeing Hollywood, is what was discussed on page 31. The fact that the tail lights are similar to the 69's, where they are flat but the center panel is concave, thus the inboard edge of the tail light sticks out compared to the inward curvature of the center panel.

I was still Hoping that the lights had Concave sections in each of the 3 Red Segments like this Photoshop.

This is about how I picture the Inner edge of the tail light to look though.
