I think it's a testament to how good this week's teaser is that a little nitpicking about the medallion is all I can think of to say.

I completely see what you are looking at, but from the driection of the lighting and studio setup it looks legit to me.

From my experience as an artist there is many things that you think in your brain, no that can't be right, but you have to fight it and draw things the way you see them, not the way you think you should see them.

 

So OK, I guess the tail lights aren't a deal-breaker. I can live with them.

Still remains to be seen about the "diaper", though, and the overall appearance of the rear quarter from about 5 steps back...

 

Just wondering, if there's a camera wouldn't there have to be a screen of some sort to see the image? Where was there a camera in any of the interior pics we've seen? Is this an option along with the NAV

 

Here's a Close Up of the Camera. I Zoomed in to look at that Cap issue and noticed it.

 

I don't know if I like it. Seems like they got happy with the bends. Almost looks like it had a stroke or something (sagging effect). Have to see the whole thing for final conclusion. I just hope they didn't get carried away with the "we have to change EVERYTHING" idea and find out some things are better left alone. Just because it's different doesn't necessarily make it better. But like I said, we'll see. Can't wait till next week.

 

If the screen is not in the nav it's probably in the mirror...

 

I played around with the image of the cap too a bit, the reflection on the cap is all wrong in my opinion. Here's my touch up.



It's the bright whitish flare near the edge where the cap meets the trunk that just doesn't look right to me. Also if you Look at the Orange right below and to the right of the cap you can see there has been some re-touching done there to remove a reflection or something.

negative, that is legit, the cap is reflecting the lamp over head. and the one on the bottom right is due to the paint reflecting the angle of the light off the cap. When you look at shiney objects in a mirror the reflection of them are different the a mirror of the object it self due to the double reflection they get. of course i can't explain it right so you prob don't understand me.

May not be one. We know from the interior shots that there is a trunklid button on the console, and assume it carries over on the key fob.

Can't remember the last time I opened the trunk with a key...

 

I do understand what you are saying Knight, I am a Graphic Artist myself. So I know about light sources, reflections, and how they mirror themselves in reflections etc. But when you blow the original image up there is absolutely No Reflection of the paint on the edge of the cap in the area I'm talking about.

Just out of curiosity, if this is the new pic, why isn't it up on the official 2010 Mustang site yet?..
