I'm liking the spoiler too, but would you have to have that spoiler to have the rear view camera option?

The taillights don't look nearly as bad as I was worried they would.

Shouldn't look any weirder than the '69 taillights, which did the same thing, only ten more times.

Why would anyone need a rear camera on a car?

I had that though as well when the first spy shots of the rear showed up, but if you look close I don't think there's a way it will fit very well on the '05-'09. The area between the tail lights on the '10 is concave, where as on the '05-'09 it's pretty much convex

I love the spoiler,i don't like the tacked spoiler on this newer body,it's fine on my new edge, but it looked like an afterthought on the '05-09,i like this much better.
The Taillights stick out alittle just like a '69. Interesting,i guess the white is supposed to mimick the chrome surrounds on each bar of tribar '69 taillights as well. I like it.

Oooh! Finally it's here!

I like those taillights more than the actual and with white sections, in Spain it isn't necessary to modify the taillights.

Now, I can rest... or not, because I have to wait to see definitive photos in LA Show.

Maybe that is the camera in the spoiler and there is no keyhole since you have the in car trunk release.

When I saw the GT500 last weekend, I noticed the taillights sticking out beyond the metal. It stuck out over an inch.

I think that is actually the truck key hole in the spoiler. Kind of an odd place for it, wonder how the spoiler delete will work now.

It's a camera.

Stupidity of a backup camera aside, I would assume that they tried putting it somewhere in the "gas cap," and the angle of view wasn't wide enough or whatever. Those cameras look tacky and out of place no matter where they are, but the spoiler placement makes it stick out like a sore thumb. It just screams, "Hey, look at me! I'm an idiot! Reverse driving skills elude me!"

I just knew that's what this weeks pic was gonna be. I figured they would give us a rear shot, holding this till very close to the end because the tail lights have been so controversial.

Knight, That is indeed the Backup Camera mounted in the Spoiler, so I hope You Guys that like the spoiler delete option don't want to see what's behind you. I don't know how that would affect ordering a Nav equipped Mustang with the spoiler delete?

As for the key hole I'm not seeing one. I can't see Ford deleting it. Even with the trunk release there would have to be a way to open the trunk manually in the event the battery died.

I assume you are talking about the inboard edges of the Tail Lights DarkCandy08GT? Yes the Tail Lights will have a straight edge as opposed to the concave center area. Imagine the inboard side of the tail light on the other side to look similar to the shape of the Badge/Medallion/Faux Cap. Flat at the outer edge but curved inward due to the concave center panel.

Overall I'm Really Liking It!

Hey look at me, I'm an idiot, I have a backup camera.

I have yet to run over a pole, a kid, or a toy. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I can barely put words together to form crude sentences.

Edit: That being said, I don't at all like where this camera is. Mine is concealed so that you really have to look for it.
