It seems like they are tying in popular traits from the SN95 era. The hood looks like it took cues from the 2000 Cobra R.

In 1970 there was a color that was just Yellow. and you are right That was not it. This is Yellow

I'd love to see Screaming Yellow come back. I'm usually not big on yellow, but that color did it for me. Zinc Yellow on the other hand was disgusting...
