Any official (or nonofficial) words on colors? I'm surprised that we haven't really heard ANY substantial rumors on new colors. I need a Screaming Yellow and a Grabber Blue and I'm satisfied.

Not sold, glad I got an 2008 when I did. I will hold out for the total redesign in 2012+. I do NOT like the amber lights next to the head lights. If I was to get a new muscle car and choose between 2010 mustang and 09 challenger, I'm sorry to say, the challenger is the winner. Now 05+ vs challenger, 05+ hands down.

I'm not sure I understand the comments where people say they are glad they already got their '05-'09. If you had waited, you probably would've been able to get a killer deal on a leftover '09 (or possibly '08) once the '10 comes out! You'd get a car you apparently like better for a steal. Heck, I may do that if I'm disappointed after the official unveil...

I like the contrasting stitching on the steering wheel. Shows that Ford is really paying attention to the details. That extends to being able to work on the cars too. Having owned and modded several fox platform cars and I really appreciate how easy my '05 is to work on in comparison.

Very true......good logical thinking. It would have sucked to wait till the 2010 rolled out though. If I did like it, I would be waiting and that would suck. I don't see the new one as an improvement over the currents, so I am glad I got mine now than later. yeah, could have got a better deal, but for 4 more months, my 2008 is still in the year 2008...NEW. Not like getting an 08 in 09, and plus, I may have not found what I wanted next year.

I agree with the contrast stitching. It's all about the subtle details like that that really make me appreciate an interior. After all, it IS where we will be spending most of our time. Might as well LOVE sitting there admiring all that is MUSTANG!

I'm one of those suckers that will be selling my '08 for 1/3 of its value in 2011-2012. It's gonna be the minute I find a used 2011 5.0 Alloy mustang w/ all the comfort options for sale. (That means.. please buy a well equipped 5.0 Alloy in 2010/2011 so I can buy it :P)

Hmmm, is that a Giugiaro-esque relief I see in the lower corner of the front fascia?

And, yes, I know that the Giugiaro was inspired by Ford's 2010 Mustang design, and not the other way around.

I'm sure the tops of the fenders crease upwards... like a '60's Mustang... What does everyone else think?

I never ever thought I would say this, but that front fender/quarter panel shot...right where the fender meets the grille, looks a lot like the new Camaro, especially with the grille/headlight panel blacked out.

All I can say is WOW. It looks like Ford is finally going in the right direction with the attention to detail. For instance, I never understood why all Mustangs didnt have some form of FRPP white face racing gauges or contrasting thread in the steering wheel or seats etc. But these pics are looking great! IMO, this 2010 is screaming cues from the 69/70 Mach/Boss mustangs along with some "italian" influence.
Im a little confused on the engine availability. Seems like this car deserves a the new 5.0 right from the start. Dont exactly understand how they can do a 4.6 3V in 2010, then a 5.0 in 2011.
Seems odd, hopefully theyve got something more to reveal. 4.6 4V DOHC perhaps?
But I shouldnt be surprised, most first year revisions dont have "hood scoops" etc... or SE'S typically until the second year or 2nd half of the year.
Now, lets see, are these wheels going to fit on the shelby? hmmmmm?
