Yep, also explains why the V6's pony looks shinier in that all 3 models pic; V6 still gets shiny chrome.

 

It should be Amber Gold, the new color on a Focus for 2009. Thats my guess.

 

I don't like the black chrome pony being standard on the GT. I would prefer it being an option...

Lookin good, this combined with a possible new 400 hp 5.0 will make it very difficult to not to want to trade up.

 

Who still listens to the radio anyway? I removed my antenna about 5 years ago when I got an iPod and Alpine radio with built-in iPod controls. I haven't listened to radio in years...

 

You really have to question why Ford is "revealing" the car in little bits and pieces like this. What's the purpose? To the non-car person they aren't even aware any of this is taking place. To a Chevy or Dodge guy- they aren't even paying attention.
It's just the Mustang lovers they are teasing and ANNOYING the hell out of. I think most Mustang guys have have a pretty good idea if they are buying a 2010 or not, so I'm not sure this little tease is going to create more sale.

These weekly pics are boring the hell outta me and actually causing me to lose interest in the 2010. Only if there is some suprise in terms of performance am I actually going to take any notice.

I don't see what the big deal is on the antenna is either and because it's almost 2009 doesn't mean a thing. Shoooot, I had an in windshield antenna on my 73' Nova.

 

Looks very good. Gonna be tough for me to wait for the 2014's....

I really like the smoothed flares. I do wish Ford had done away with the thick, "fat lip" at the end of the flares, and instead made more of a smaller, creased lip similar to what the Challenger has.

 

Yeah, and I don't like that...

 

I like the fact that they blended the flare and the rest of the fender. It looks more like a single unit and less like like FENDER, FLARE. FLAT. It is smoother and more complete looking.

 

I love it. This latest shot reminds me of the '71-'73 design. A lot.

And that's a very good thing.
