It just sounds completely bad a**. Pics and vids this weekend I hope.

Ben

How did you get such an intense DOF? Can I ask what your camera settings were?

I shot it with a Sigma 85mm lens. The setting were aperture 1.4, shutter speed 1/3200, ISO 100. This is my portrait lens.

I got some practicing to do. I have a Samsung NX30 mirrorless DSLR (buyers remorse but that's another story). Standard lens is 18-55mm w/3.5 aperture, and I just bought a Samsung 50-200mm w/4.0 aperture.

If I could get a pic just half the intensity and DOF as yours I'd be very happy.

I don't use any mirrorless cameras. A 1.4 aperture is razor thin and it does take practice to nail it but, the results when you master it are awesome. You might get the narrow DOF if you can get close to the subject. The lens I used is a specialty prime lens.

Looks gorgeous Burton! Can see the side pipes too. I stay away from my brother's baseball games. The field he plays at is notorious for ***** hitting cars.
