Thanks, but as far as the brake fluid reservoir, I have black covers for that area and for the battery, I use these covers only at shows usually, and they clean up the look a lot.
And no, I don't plan on hydro-dipping them too ... I think it would be too much
This is what they look like installed (pic was taken about a month ago and sorry but it's a bit blurry):

He had a smarty cam running under the rear view mirror. Hasn't uploaded it yet. For us, this kind of thing along with track days are why we have our cars. There are half a dozen of us that run around Texas and sometimes other places going to races and track days. We are all going to try to make sand hills next year. We've been told by everyone who's driven both BBORR and the silver state challenge that the Nevada race is incredibly boring after BBORR. Very few turns, not a lot to do but watch the gauges and hope the heat doesn't kill the car before it finishes. The stretch of hwy 285 that we run has about 20 miles of seriously tight, blind turns that absolutely keep you on your toes the whole time. In anything but the rookie classes, a navigator is almost essential if you don't want to end up missing a turn. Either that or you know the course like the back of your hand which some do. I expect BBORR to be an every-year thing for me at least. It's a blast.
Beautiful man... just beautiful. I like the tasteful mods too. Essentially the wheels make it pop. I haven't seen stock fog lights in a long time. Fits the car well.
Agree.
LOL... I know right? Between Nathan and Steevesj, I'm a peon. I bow down.
Agree.
. I forgot how much energy those HID headlights pull.

Thanks Burton! I could never pull off a "in the sun" shot like you can. I am sure you know why with my 6 year old black car.

Thanks!
Do mine while you're at it. Haven't had time to detail mine yet this year.
Hey, you're definitely one of the best on this site!

Looking good Jon!
So, what do ya do when the weather sucks but you want to gussy up your Mustang? Do it water less in the garage. Bought a water less product recently from these guys:

This is the second time I've used it and I'm diggin' the stuff. No petroleum ingredients, little to no VOC's, no streaks or smudging, and as far as I can tell no surface scratches. I'm still experimenting and after the wash I applied a coat of Turtle Wax liquid for black cars. Shortly after I got done a package arrived from Croftgate which included a bottle of Quick-n-Slick. It's advertised as a protectant and supposedly has some dust repellent properties so what the h*ll...I applied Q & S over the fresh wax as a sealer. Keeping my fingers X'd that the finish I achieved lasts. Really happy with the way it looks. I might have to order a few more products and integrate them into my detailing routine.

I always say I have a love/hate relationship with black, but when I get results like today, the hate part is out of the equation. I'm **** pleased with the results.
Went for a little drive tonight.
