Do you have any preference on where you get microfibers from? I just have a couple of cheap ones i've picked up here and there.

Two additional steps I include, probably because I'm ****, is to lay down blue painter' tape on the edges of my vinyl stripes approx 1/8" overlap onto the painted surface to avoid compound/polish/wax build up on the tape edges. It can be a real pain cleaning up residue from a sharp edge. The other is to block off the heat extractors from underneath to avoid polishing dust from coating the engine bay.

Your car looks great as always Darren.
Same question for you. Or anywhere you prefer to get your polishing supplies? Also, lucky for me (and unlucky depending on how you look at it) i've got a v6 so no heat extractors to worry about

I've gotten quite a few from Autogeek.net, and I pick them up from vendors like Meguiars and Croftgate at shows. I try to get assorted colors since I use them for different applications and it's easy to confuse which one is used for what. Recently I bought a 6 pack for $5 @ Walmart. Pieces of crap, barely good enough to blow my nose with. You get what you pay for.

Word of advice....wash them before you use them. It'll get rid of lint and dirt that may be on them from sitting around in storage.

my last bag was kirkland brand from costco, the large yellow ones. they were excellent but you have to cut off the tags and borders. no biggy.

That would look bad *** Gabe. I'm liking your car more and more. That stance is on point bro. The last photo you posted really made me look at how well it is all ted in together with the wheel/tire set up and suspension.

Thanks Tony ... I'd love a new front bumper cover and a new hood, but money being tight that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

Just in time for the weekend! Are you installing the new tune or are they doing that as well?

Thanks Tony. The tune I have from late fall last year already has the provisions for the headers. I told my tuner ahead of time about the mods I was doing. I will still be data logging a few runs for him though.

I got the Sto N Sho one. Can easily just pop it off when I want to take pics, and when I'm done just put it back on.

From my weekend at the track. Cool foggy morning before it burnt off and became sunny and beautiful.

I don't envy your buddy one little bit. Anything to do with installing headers on just about anything is a pain in the pecker.

Oh I totally agree. I actually told him when I dropped the car off Sunday - "You should feel really special...because no other hands have touched this car except my own.". LOL.

He's great though - he owns his own shop so I trust him. He takes his time and is very meticulous.

Hopefully done today, but might have a chance it will be tomorrow. Ugh. The removal of stock parts I thought would be the bugger, but he said wiggling the new parts in and getting it all lined up was also a pain.
