My wife's GT500 factory wheels on my car for a little while. They currently have 255/45/18 all-season Cooper tires on them front and rear. That's the narrowest rear tire that's been on this car in almost 10 years, lol

Gabe! Your wife's OEM 07-09 GT500 wheels match up really well on your "13" Sterling Gray GT... But then again, you know how biased I 'am lol. Meanwhile, I'm surprised you didn't reinstall your OEM "2010" GT500 wheels, as I hope you still have them? Meanwhile, curious about how well your rear traction is with running the smaller 255/45/18" tires, especially during tight cornering.

They've been on mostly for a short time while i was forced to drive the car even in bad weather, if any came up. My daily driver ('03 Tundra) had a small fuel leak and I needed a couple days to receive the new fuel line and install it, while also having to drive my Mustang to get it obd-ready for state inspection.
Surprised how well these tires are taking the power and how much nicer they ride compared to my usual setup.
And yes, I still have my 2010 18x9.5 GT500 wheels. They're going back on soon.
But the bald rear drag radials were not a good option to drive on, in case of bad weather, lol.

Although it sucks being forced to drive the Mustang in bad weather, at least its only during the non-winter months with not having to worry about exposing the car to snow/ice and especially to road salt... But I totally understand where you're coming from knowing your daily driver had a small fuel leak and wasn't drivable that required a couple of days before receiving and then installing the new fuel line... I also agree that it's not a very good idea to be driving on a pair of bald drag radials, especially in the event of rainy/bad weather conditions lol. But nevertheless, I'm still really amazed on just how good those 07-09 OEM GT500 wheels look on your "13" Sterling Gray GT Gabe... Now that you've brought to my attention how well the smaller 255/45/18" tires take the power and how much smoother they ride compared to your usual setup, I may have to seriously consider these as my next tire setup when my current 275/40/18" tires will eventually need to be replaced.

Thanks I was really happy how they turned out as well. And they have held up very well. 5 years old and still look as good as they did when I installed them. I should note that when I got them painted my car was so new that no one had the color. So, Pomona body and paint had to mix their own to color match.

GORGEOUS CAR!!!!
Love it Burton.

I was looking at getting a '23 M340i for a daily driver, but it was 10k more than the G70. Plus, it was a hassle trying to get them to buy at MSRP. Hard pass. lol
Enjoy that beast. She's beautiful.
