this does make logical sense.

A - you park far away from others (which means you are far from the shopping cart returns ) others around you may not return their carts because its too far and you could get dinged.

B - you park too close to those and someone could carlessly just push the carts back into the direction of the shopping cart station and you could get dinged.

its hard to know where is a "safe" place to park!

My cars in the past have gotten nailed no matter where I've parked and I've tried to take the cautious route and parked far enough away that I wouldn't have to worry about it.

I think you should just leave your car home, parked in the garage and take the public transit

This is why I bought a second car off a friend. It's 2002 Taurus with 28k on it and I don't care what happens to it. It's nice to park wherever. Believe me I'd like to have my new car all the time but I can't take the pressure with all the jackasses out there.

100%

its nice to have an old car for these reasons. keeps road rage down to a very low minimum. I even try to park in a "close enough" spot while driving the wife's santa fe. She gets pissed, so I tend to drop her off at the front doors of the mall and try to hide the car from others!!!!

Needless to say, she's already experienced two descent sized scratches on her car and she isn't fazed by it.

then she also wonders why i LAUGH when she says that she's going to drive MY CAR.

IMO a hood might upset the balanced look.

HOWEVER, if you disagree, my opinion means precisely nothing.
I do agree with you sir, i should leave it alone and just focus on keep her looking clean. thanks for the suggestion.

No!! Do this hood, with your stripes stopping at the scoop and continuing at the top of the bumper

If I drive the Mustang to the store, I just try to park at the highest point in the parking lot so that no carts will roll into it (normally pretty easy since most parking lots are built with slopes for drainage).

That is true, it was kind of a joke, but ive heard of people messing with cars in these situations. That pic was taken late at night right infront of a Dennys as i was sitting right by the window. I agree though, people are retarded and its best to park far away and hope for the best.

My professor from NYC said he purposely would park his rust bucket Volvo station wagon right beside the cars parked out in the middle of nowhere! He was always an *** though! :-)

When possible, I try to park next to a newer car that seems to be at least as well cared for as mine.

When I see people parked crooked intentionally across a couple spaces, I park exactly the same way...right next to them. Nice cars parked in the far corner of the lot but inside the lines, I keep my distance and park 2-3 spots over.

most of the time, nobody parks near my mustang. I only try to park with one side near a curb, that's all. The only malls i go to, alot of the regulars know me and my car, and in a friendly kinda way, seem to look out for me.
