'10 not as cool as '05-09 s197
I'm positive that people are getting good money for these cars. My friend's older brother sold his low mile 93' for $19,000 and It sold quick. Though these cars are inferior to the 96-98 Cobras in just about every way they are much more desirable. People who are not fans of fox bodies tend not to understand but the demand is there. Even low mile 5.0 LX and GTs are commanding a higher price than most 94-98 GTs
it doesnt matter what they do to the 2010 stang.....
It cant get any nicer than my car (IMO)

I had a 2004 Mach 1....thought that was the nicest stang ever.....was on fence with the 05....
But now, with the 2008 GT/CS.....omg....IM IN LOVE

Lol, to "get it" with a fox body, you had to have been growing up in the 80's when it was the car to have. As good as my S-197 is and as well as it looks, it doesn't quite kindle the same fire as a 5.0. Espcially a 5.0 with a set of shorty headers, off-road exhaust and a set of 2-chamber flows - that will always be the sound of awesome!
I think the 2010 has the potential to blow the 05 out of the water...
if they improve on the current look, which is a pretty good bet.
Yes every panel will change, but the overall shape will stay the same...
but who would argue that a GT500like front end and hips won't make you drop a load
As for the 5.0's of the earlier years... yeah they sound great...
but there's a reason people want them.
They are CHEAP to MOD and make fast....its not that people are collecting them because they'll hold value.
Every kid has a fox body these days.

and as for every kid these days, I find more of them modding SN95/New Edge cars rather than foxes (at least around here in seven cities area of SE Va).
Maybe after the heartbreak of having to cancel my order when the s197 first debuted due to losing my job may actually have a silver lining.
I say this because I've always loved the 5.0 especially in our 93 so to have another 5.0 in the new style has me wanting one even more now than before

Well by the sound of it, you must have seen the 2010 without any camo. Please enlighten us. Otherwise, reserve judgment for the official photos. Sorry, it's just comments like that hold no value or meaning if you can't back it up.
well im SO SORRY that my opinion holds no value to you ....

And, yeah, I agree with you guys in that the '05-'09 Mustangs look AWESOME; but, to already dismiss the potential of the 2010 when NO ONE has seen it devoid of camo seems a bit crazy to me. That's just me, though. I'm not looking for a pointless Internet forum fight.
I'm no stranger to sarcasm, but for the sake of civility, I'm not gonna touch that last remark.
Provide some proof or elaboration on your opinion. Simply saying that the 2010 isn't blowing anything out of the water doesn't come off as a very rational statement. All I'm saying is, what do you mean exactly? If you are referring to the upcoming 5.0L 4v TT, then you are inaccurate. There's really no gray area there; the 2010 models will produce more power. Rather, if you are referring to the exterior styling, then to each his own. I know I can't tell much from what we've seen thus far. I have a good idea, but there's no certainty until we see it sans camo. If you have proof that says otherwise then I'd sincerely like to know.

As far as I'm concerned the 99 - 04 Stangs blew the 94 - 98s out of the water. Better styling and a LOT more power from the PI heads for the GT all the way up to the Terminator Cobras
Sorry, meant to include this spyshot in my previous post.
I'm sure people saw this atrocious mess back in 04 and thought the S197 would be fugly, and look how it turned out. It's not wise to judge a book by it's cover...

There is no guarantee power levels will keep going up
Will that be like the 1972 351 and 429 blew away the 1971 351 and 429? Oh that's right, the 351 dropped well over 30 horsepower (depending on which version you compare) and there was no longer a big block 429 available in 1972...
Don’t count your chickens before they hatch. Premium fuel is at over $3.40 per gallon here today, and I predict it will hit $4.00+ per gallon before the end of the year and never look back.
Between stricter emissions levels and new laws tightening Corporate Average Fuel Economy standards and the high cost of fuel, power levels could drop off for another 40 years.

While certain magazines might have quoted him as "designing the car", the Chief Engineer takes the lead from design.
