those tires dont look too bad, pedals are definately a 'important' mod, especially, when stock pedals suck so much

The pedals are flawless, the only "problem" is that when you are sitting at a light with the clutch in, and your foot is just... off... you know what I'm saying. You can't move your foot to a more comfortable position because it is so sticky, haha. I'm not sure that can even be classified as a problem, though.

The new tires, like I said, are quite noisy. I love them, though, and there isn't a numerical value to say how much better they feel.

Just changed out a set of Bridgestones on my car last week. "Z-rated" (or whatever the speed rating system for 149+ is now...) Potenza 9-somethings IIRC. Similar tread design, summer tire. They also had uneven wear, were loud, and tended to tramline. Grip was pretty good though. IMO, put the set with more wear up front. Better to understeer than oversteer on the street, especially if your car sees rain.

The front tires ("new") look significantly smaller than the old tires, though, and I don't want to have to worry about the size change affecting my speedometer, or anything else that may go wrong with changing from 235/45/ZR17's to 235/40/ZR17, or would that matter at all?

A little something that me and Arin worked on today. The middle of the hood is next weekend.

Some daylight shots

It's not quite perfect, but I personaly think it looks good. I did notice some imperfections, but it can be touched up. I think the funniest moment was when peter lost one of the nuts that holds the bolts for the spoiler on and i just walked and picked one up from the ground right by the II. It was a rusted as hell one that used to hold my hood scoop on (its off right now for bodywork) and it fit on perfectly

Arin is the supreme power in the universe... MUAHAHAHAHA

Yes, I haven't slept much and I am now delisuonal
yaaaaya

Haha, don't say that. Arin may think that the 70's were a good thing... again...

I think he should buy his own gas cap :P

I think Pete mentioned it already, but the hood stripe is next. The car might actually stand out and look good instead of plain and boring now

Bullitt gas cap on a white stang just doesn't do it for me...

Other than that my car has been getting really hot lately, and it has been wanting to stay at around the "L" in "NORMAL". It has been around 100 degrees for the past few days, and that hasn't helped much, but it has been doing this for a while. Me and Arin have already replaced the thermostat to a 180*, any ideas/tips on what to check, and how to check it?

We did what now? I don't remember being there when we replaced the thermostat. I was only there when you bought it :P

What kind of hood stripe would you put on it? Shelby, SS type or Mach 1 style?
Also side stripes like the SN97's have would give it a cool look!

It's gonna be a Mach 1 style stripe, but not the factory one. Take a look at Evil Capri's Mach 1 with the majority of the center section blacked out, and thats what we plan on doing. No pin stripe around the fat stripe, since Petey here doesn't like the look

I'm not sure if any side stripes are happening though, thats all up to Pete

That car is my "inspiration" I guess. That is how my hood is going to be painted. I just don't like the way that a pinstripe would look around that.

This one is even closer with its Cobra R hood and the Cobra bumper.
