It does look kinda cool, doesn't it?

I'm really debating if I should get some flat clear or not. I'm terrified of messing up the paint like I did to the spoiler by washing it. I washed the whole car yesterday and it's quite obvious that the spoiler is in desperate need of another couple coats. I just don't know if the flat clear will require the same care as the paint itself. In which case, I won't bother.

So yesterday, coming home from Arin's house I heard a horrible "tink" (metal on metal sound) followed by the sound of my tire shredding itself. I pulled off to the side into the "V" between the freeway and an exit, but **** that was frightening. I don't know when I'm going to get a new tire, but I'm thinking that if it's as cheap to get a pair of Bullitts with rubber on them as some used tires would be, then I may go that route. Think Arin's tire combo, but modern.

I don't have 200, let alone 600... These are a lot more likely.

I figured I can just sand them down since I'd lay a coat of paint on them anyway.

In case anyone is wondering I'm going the tire route with a pair of 245/45/ZR17 BF Goodrich G-Force Sports. From what I hear they are a good tire, and the extra width as well as height should give me a little more grip and top end (Going from a 235/40/ZR17). It'll take til next Tuesday before I have the money to buy them though. Right now I'm running very slowly on the spare. I don't know how long it is alright to run on it though.

well, I busted my spare yesterday. And it was for only a week of use. Guess the TEMPORARY USE lettering really means it.

In that case, I'll stay off of it for a while.
