From the diagram on that page you can see an "atmospheric vent" on the carbon canister. My question is, could that be letting the pressure off that they are trying to put on the tank?

I heard it's only $20 to get a new tumbler with key to match, as long as you don't go to Ford. I'm glad though. $4 since I found the other part of the key. Would have been a huge pain to get the old tumbler out though...
Did you get a spare?
My uncle gave me probably three or four sets when I bought mine from him.

I had no spare. If I didn't find the other piece the only option I would have had would have been to have a locksmith come here and make me a new key for the ignition.

Alright, well I dropped 50 bucks at Ford on gaskets today. All of which go on the top of my gas tank. Well, one's on the side, but anyhow. Hopefully this is the last place it could possibly be leaking pressure from. If it's not, I'm at a loss, and I'm going to be pretty mad about these gaskets costing me so much.

I'm done putting the new grommets on. I should be bringing it back in tomorrow for its test. Hopefully it will be the last test, but as I've seen so many times before... You never know.

She Passed
I just got home from the smog check place, and she passed.
I would have put it in my other thread, but if I did that, then it would have been ignored.

Unfortunately, monetary problems may be setting me back a bit longer than expected.

I'll give you guys an update when I can.
