Yep, that's a great combo. Most of the pieces I have are polished (which is not offered anymore), but I have some chrome accents too, to match the satin/chrome scheme that came with the IUP.

Would you happen to have any pics of your set up?

This is the only one I have as the car sits currently. I also have the chrome door lock pins. Most of my items are polished, but the Hurst handle is Chrome, as well as the mirror control ****.

Is there a dramatic difference between the polished and satin? Of course, you stated that SHR doesn't do polished anymore.

The polished and satin are very similar. The polished had a bit more gloss to them, but the color is nearly identical.

Thanks for the help! Your interior is pretty sick, and I hope to have mine up on that level eventually!

Sooooo...I got my new SHR Satin Anodized door handles and Door Lock Pocket last night. They match perfectly the SHR window switch plates and my speaker covers. As expected, they are great quality. BTW, I used a small strip of double sided tape to secure the lock pocket in place..piece of cake.

As far as the install, for me, removing the door panel was a breeze. Removing the handle, per se, from the door proved just a bit of a challenge because you have to apply some force to pull it out and I know I like to break stuff...so I took it extra careful to ensure I did not break anything.

Finally, SHR instructions are right on the money. I followed them step-by-step. As far as the write up., I would not change anything. Here's are a couple of pics, the camera and the setting are not great as the pics are a bit dark. I snapped them inside my garage last night. Oh yes, I also got the TrimBright Welt and I also installed it last night...that was an easy one.

Very very cruel April fools joke Mr.SHR. Your Newsletter Vol XI issue 9! I can't take shots to the pump like this.
This was a gotcha moment. Switching to Prius HA! Before I finished reading, I was on the phone to Toyota to see what I could get for my Mustang.
It was a good run for us, but it's time to move forward. With impending Cap & Trade legislation, the new CAFE requirements being unveiled today, and the EPA carbon emissions requirements coming up, we've decided that rather than wait for the inevitable, we're just going to discontin
To show our support for the Mustang community, and for our readers of our news that have a good sense of humor, we're having a sale today, and today

The discount was quite tempting, but business has been slow... Plus I'm saving for more new equipment.

Haven't heard anything in a while on the 2005-2009 new fitment lock pockets... but did notice they're not on the 2005-2009 interior section of your website anymore. Any updates?

Perfect timing as I was wondering the same thing as the new design should be out here fairly soon.

New pieces are at finishing, just haven't all arrived back in yet to do a full release. I was hoping they were going to show up this week, but haven't seen any yet from chrome...

As to on the site - they were never on the 05-09 section in the interior - they were always on the garage sale section since we knew of the fitment issue as soon as they came back from finishing the first time.

Soon though, very soon

There is a nice Memorial Day sale going on though through the weekend, just in case you're tempted !

Still no word on the 05-09 lock pockets, either here or on the SHR website.

Black pockets are not back yet from finishing, it's "that time of year" where our finishers get backed up. So we were waiting, hoping they would come in so we could release all three finishes at once, but it's not happening that way, so we'll be doing the satin and chrome pieces maybe today on the normal section of the website.

Somewhat related, even though they went out after the pockets, these came back first, so we've released them in yesterday's newsletter:

Ordered the improved fitment 05-09 lockpocket/pin combo yesterday as a father's day gift to me from me. This will finally complete the mods to my doors since I already have the SHR mirror control ****, MKII handles, and switch plates.

Thanks

But you're not done quite yet .... There are still a couple surprises we have for the doors, but it'll be later in the year before we can get to them.

alright! my interest is peaked! having trouble thinking of what those could be but i'm excited about it. could it be door handle pockets or speaker ring trim? except you said in the past they would require too much material to be affordable. hhhhmmmm... what's cookin?
