Edit: Just noticed that there price went up to $89.95. I paid $69.95 each.
Still a bunch less than $129.50.

Thank you, very much! I noticed that these are the P.I.E model, very cool.

I'm interested in connecting my Lowrance iWay500 GPS into the Shaker 500 (It can also carry 10 Gb in MP3's) so I've been following the talk about how to use the AUX input. In looking through the 2006 Mustang Accessories catalog (available from http://www.fordaccessoriesstore.com/), I noticed this item:
8. TripTunes™
Take your tunes on the road! Now you can
connect most portable audio players (MP3, iPod,®
iRiver,® ScanDisk,® etc.), plus portable CD and
cassette players, right to your in-dash radio.
Just plug your player into the harness – a 3.5mm
stereo connector provides the interface so you
can listen to music through the radio’s speakers
and control the volume. Audio connection
is housed securely in your vehicle’s glovebox
or center console.
Base Part No. 19C142
Since I saw no mention of it I doubt anyone has tried this, but I'm asking anyway. Has anyone tried the TripTunes from Ford? Has anyone seen a comparison of the PIE product to the Ford product?
Thanks in advance.
