Trufiber Gts2

My body shop received my hood late Thursday and I got a chance to see it on Friday. SWEET! The parts guy at the body shop said the packaging was as good as he's seen so Trufiber did a great job of packing and shipping.
Like David mentioned, there is a hard line bead going down the center of the hood that doesn't quite fit with the rest of the car so I'm going to have them remove it. The shop is fitting the hood so I'll be able to see it on the car Monday or Tuesday. Another mod I'm having done is install the '71-'73 twist down hood pins. I'm also having them remove the antenna and fill the hole.
Hopefully, I'll have the car back in 8 or 10 work days. I'll post pics when it's done.

Hood's Here!!!
Mine arrived today!!!
Packaging looks AWESOME (see pics)... I'll unwrap it this evening and show the details of this center "bead" we've heard mentioned - it looks out of place and should definitely be REMOVED!!
All in all I was very impressed with how Trufiber wrapped it and cushioned it - the corner of the cardboard box had a pretty good crunch in it - but no damage to the hood!

Are there any of these hoods left (from the group buy)?
Also - can someone measure the distance between the two sets of louvers - I want to see if I can get 10" wide stripes between them...

Mine came as schedualed. As everyone else mentioned the hood was EXTREMELY well packaged. No damages to the box or the hood.
My only complaint was with the delivery guy. He was very rushed and didn't want to wait 10seconds for me to check the conditions of the hood inside. Other then that, a job well done by TruFiber.
Now... to save for paint!

The on ly thing with the SS hood is that if its ever made it will most likely be made for the GT500 facia becuase the hood lines would match that facia much nicer then the "straighter" GT facia. JMO
