Are all the parts for the front end conversion necessary or can you get away without using some parts?

I had to run to Home depot to get some bolts to hold the lower valance on and get a rivot gun, but if I had these items the install would have been much faster.

Generally speaking the main tool one will need for this install is a 10mm socket and drive. A rivot gun, phillips head screw driver and a 7/32 will helps as well.

Here are some finished pics tell me what you think. More detailed write up and pics with tips to follow.

Update,

For awhile The Gt-500 Halogen Headlight Assemblies Were Not Available. The Have Come Back But are Much More Expensive Than Back in The Day! Expect to Pay in The Neighborhood of $600.00 a Pair For Them. Uh & Beware of The Aftermarket Headlight Listings That Show They Fit The Gt-500 Fascia. If They Say They Also Fit Base & Gt's They are Not The Same! The Shelby GT Causes Catalog Confusion.

Halogens Can Be Used on Cars Originally Using Hids By Simply Changing Plugs or If Memory Serves Just Trimming Off The Locating Protrusion. Been a Few Years But The The Thread is Out There To Revisit. Back in The Day, The Whole Kit I Sold Started at $1200.00! Those Were The Days!

May Be a Last Run Kind of Thing. I'm Tempted To get a Spare Set For My GT-500 as Mine Had Some Tree Fall out get on Them Some Years Back & Are Not as Nice as I Would Like! Big Investment For This Guy for Spares!

Just Information as I No Longer Sell The Kits Now For Many Years!
