I had previously taken my bumper off twice to install and remove my Saleen HIDs so that experiance helped. I had to run to Home depot to get some bolts to hold the lower valance on and get a rivot gun, but if I had these items the install would have been much faster.

Generally speaking the main tool one will need for this install is a 10mm socket and drive. A rivot gun, phillips head screw driver and a 7/32 will helps as well.

Here are some finished pics tell me what you think. More detailed write up and pics with tips to follow.
Man I love that first shot of your new car/bumper..Looks fantastic especially with the foose wheels

More shots straight on, some from the side, and a couple hood looking down shots... Just anything and everything you have time to shoot

Without betraying Kevin's "don't post my prices on the internet" policy, can anybody throw out a ballpark figure on what this would cost with the average paint shops work and installing it yourself? I'm guessing around $2000???

Hey guys, i am brand new to these forums, and i have been currently looking to do this conversion on my NEW 06 V6 mustang.....
When i find some time i'll get some pix up of her, she's not stock!
Anyways, i am looking to make her a Shelby Clone, and bumped into this thread.... Can someone tell me where the best place to get the front end kit would be? I found one on e-bay but was wondering if there was a better source out there! Thanks, and man your car looks sick! Thanks guys!

I would without a doubt order absolutely everything through 05stangkc, he is a vendor on this site and he will give you the best prices, the correct answers and most importantly the right parts for your conversion!

05stangkc all the way. He got some of my parts for my conversion. Had I been closer and shipping wouldn't have killed me I'd have gotten all my parts through him. KC is a great guy and will be a huge help to your project.

Stay away from the Ebay deal. I checked into it after my conversion was done just cuz I was curious. I emailed that guy and he never responded. He lists the parts that he supplies for that price, but that is far from a complete list.

Huh.... thanks for the info guys.... How can i get hold of this guy?
I did worth a mention exchange several e-mails with the guy on e-bay and he did even give me 2 contact #'s to call him. I got hold of him first call as well. Seemed to be a straight up guy, he claims he worked in parts for Ford. He also did say that i would need different bumper brackets and a crash plate (some piece of foam for inside the bumper) which is different than the v-6) to complete intallation. What else would be needed? I am looking forward to you guys hooking me up with this guy here on this forum, I am ready to buy, just want to make sure i'm not paying too much....
Hey thanks again guys for holding my hand here! LOL

Sorry guys, thought i should also mention i intend on doing the GT500 hood as well, not sure if that makes a difference here???
