Overall Im happy..My wife noticed some edge problems and the passanger didnt fit as well as the driver but I am happy.

Here are a few shots for you Screaming Yellow guys and gals who are sitting on the fence about these.
I love em.

Man, those look like they were specifically made for the scheme. The black part of the mirrors, along with the black stripes really set off the mirrors. Great job!!!

got mine yesterday.

One of them looks good, it only has 2 dust specks in it. The other one has a big dot.. I think i'm going to live with it, though.

did any of you buy extra 3M tape and use it? or did you all just use those 3 pieces... for some reason, it doesn't look like it will hold up too long with what they supplied?

I just used the supplied tape. I installed the first set I received and had to pry them off with a plastic scrapper to send them back. It was difficult to get them off, but its been cold here so the tape probably had not set all the way. As soon as it warms up I think it will be very difficult to get them off. I'm not worried about it. Also, I took the piece on the outer most side of the mirror and cut off about an inch and applied it on the outside curve.

I did too, and they told me late last week that mine would ship today. Evidently they ran out and couldn't even fill the pre-order requests!?

I was just about ready to place an order, and like all things I do, I research stuff on this forum before pulling the trigger. Then, as these inserts start to arrive in peoples hands, I start to see a pattern. The last few pages reveal some issues in the quality.

This is just from the past two pages of posts:

Rough edges, paint bubbles, cutting tape off, dust specks, big dots, passenger fit problem, bumps in paint, replacement still has bumps, several blemishes, small blister in finish and indentation, bottom edge not beveled/smooth, little specks of dust.

But on the good side, there is a 100% satisfaction with the paint matching and a few have noted that they received good ones.

This is the quality of the inserts that we have been waiting on, for the last 6 month?

No thanks, I'll wait.

PS - Sorry MAG, but I'm disappointed and I don't want to "spin the wheel" when I purchase this product.

I just received my set, and although I haven't been able to test-fit them on the car yet (still at work), the quality seems to be very good. No dust, bubbles, or spots, and the edges are nice and smooth......

got mine last week, couldn't install until this past weekend and didn't have time to take pictures unitl earlier today ..... here is a close up shot and one taken farther away .... these things really change (finish) the look of the car .....

edit: Since theres been a lot said about fit and finish .... the set I got are perfect. No paint defects of any kind and the fit was perfect on both sides ....

Thanks dude, here is another angle of the car with the covers on it. Like I said before the change is subtle, but when you compare before and after pics side by side, the difference is night and day …

I have to give Midwest some serious credit. They just e-mailed me back in just over an hour stating new inserts will be shipped Monday.

Just an update. My second set was supposed to ship out on Feb 27th and as of Mar 9th they hadn't arrived. I sent an e-mail inquiry to Bobbie at MAG last night so she would have it first thing this morning. While I never got a response from her, I did get a USPS shipping notification with Mar 10th as the shipping date. Hopefully they will be here soon since it was priority mail but, it would have been nice to know what happened. I'll update when they arrive.

Received my black inserts today in Holland. Perfect condition. Great service! (even though I had to pay $30 import duties)

Update, I got an e-mail from Bobbie at MAG stating that the inserts never got shipped. Didn't say why but, I'm gonna assume it was just an oversight. I can't wait to get them on the car since the weather is nice.

Well, my inserts arrived today. The quality on this set was pretty good and they went on real easy. Even though I had to wait a few extra days, I will give MAG credit for taking care of things the way they should be.
