I ordered them yesterday for just over $1600. They should be in within 3 weeks. The 18x10s were on back order. I got them from my local America's Tire Company! I am stoked!

Thanks to Vegasjay and Azoufan for my inspiration! I can't wait until they come in.

Stay tuned for pics!!

Nice, have the exact same combo all mounted and ready to install sitting in my garage waiting on spacers for the front. Talk about torture!

I think he means $1600 for the wheels and tires which is about $100 more than I paid. I know my tires cost about $150 more than the wheels did.

Too expensive??? No way! 1600 for rims and tires, mounted and lifetime balance and rotation!

Why only 285s on the back? People have put 285s on a 9" rim, you should have gone 275/40 front and 305/35 rear

Now THAT was cool, but truth be told, it's all Vegasjay. I'm surprised he's not hacked off at me for basically copying his car. Then he goes and throws a SC on there, forget it, I got left in the dust.

Your car is going to look fantastic with those rims and tires, of course, I'm a bit biased. Post pictures ASAP.

And $1,600 is basically exactly what I paid, same thing, lifetime balance, mounted, awesome tires, etc. I almost bought Boyd Coddington's and that was going to be $3,200! I looked for a long time, and in my opinion you cannot buy a better wheel / tire combo for anywhere near that money. Like they say, when you trick out a car and people know that it's different but you just can't put your finger on where, then you have a successful mod. These rims are old school, aggressive, but not over the top. Absolutely perfect combo, period.

And as far as "only" 285's in the back, trust me, it's plenty...

It's a matter of opinion...I wouldn't even think of putting 305 in the rear. A 40 series tire is thin enough! I would not go with a 35 series! heck, I would have bout some dubs if that was the case!

I think I picked the perfect combo!

Nick, you're talking about a 0.285" difference in sidewall height. Surely you can't think you'd have rubberbands going from a 4.5" sidewall to a 4.2" sidewall...

I just wanted to go with these. Maybe when I swap tires out next time, I will see if the 305's fit.

Does anyone know if I'll need wheel spacers for this combo?

That depends on the offset/backspacing of the wheels. With the proper offset you can easily fit those rims.
