I received my plate bracket on Saturday and it looks great. Unfortunately I went a different route to mount my plate so i no longer need the new bracket.
If anyone is interested in the bracket, send me a PM ($42 shipped to 48 US).
Thanks,
Bob

I'm glad you thought the bracket looked great. The plate holes in my bracket are exactly in line with where the stock holes are. If you can explain a little more why the bracket did not work that would be great.
If this is your Plate holder/cover (WheaterTech), I can see why it did not work? But did you not have to drill holes in your bumper?

That is the plate I used and now you see why it did not work. I ordered your bracket and then the other day found the WeatherTech covers and had to have them. I did have to drill holes which sucks but since front plates are the law in Texas I had to install something anyway. It actually looks pretty good.

No. Unfortunalty our Texas Legeslature found more Inportant things to worry about , Like Cheerleader Routines and getting tickets for honking your horn. The Licence Plate bill silently died.

D@mn...Well, hopefully it will come up again. I know I'm going to end up in San Antonio eventually and I'm not drilling holes on the bumper. I do miss Texas!!!!

6 Brackets have been shipped!!!
Hi all,
The 6 new brackets I made last week have been boxed up and labelled. They are getting dropped in a Mail box tomorrow morning so they'll start journey at 9am!
The following people will receive they're brackets within the next 1-2 weeks (BeBeep got his in less than a week!)
adnlyn;scramblr;icemant180;PonyUp;BilLR;Tony Alonso
Here's some pictures of the brackets boxed up :
Let me know when you receive your brackets.
Please note these brackets do not work with the WeatherTech plate cover as BeBeep has found out.
Here's the list:
RedDragon777
packhater
Interested/Waiting for car:
shatter
AFChief
05MustangSB
drakino
07VistaGT
6606stang
Interested in V6 bracket:
knucklehead_11 - I had a look at a V6 at the dealer, I didn't have any measurement tools, but the front bumper is a bit different (mainly the black plastic where my bracket "clamps" on is not as wide). Other than that I might be able to make one for a V6 with some modifications to my current design.
If your interested in a V6 bracket let me know, as it takes a while to make templates etc... It might not be worth it for only one.
Thanks,

If you decide you want to buy from me, instead of purchasing BeBeep's I'll add you to the list.
I'll paypal you my paypal email as I don't want to post that on the thread (thread scraping bots).
Thanks,

New comers to the thread...
Hi,
For new comers to this thread, please view this post, as it contains photos of what the production version of the bracket looks like "v2":
http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showth...811#post702811
Here's a link to payment information:

The bracket price is $35US + $7US shipping to anywhere in the US including APO, Hawaii and Alaska. Total price is $42US.
If your interested please PM me for my paypal email as it's my main email address and I'd rather not post it on a message board (for fear of those thread scraping bots that collect email addresses)

Mine just came in the mail. I'm about to head out to Advance Auto and pick up some polish before I put them on. They look **** nice, the pictures don't do them justice. I'll post pics later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Did you get it installed ? I haven't had power since wednesday so this is my first time checking back.
Thanks,

I will be test mounting it today. I picked up some Rust-Oleum Spray Crystal Clear Enamel to protect it since I live near the ocean. I'll be spraying it a few minutes. I have been a lot busier than expected all week. Today I'll be installing my new Pro 5.0 shifter and maybe my BMR LCA's as well so if all goes to plan this will be a good weekend.
That sucks about your power going out. I wouldn't be able to live without a PC or TV for that long.

Well, I'm switching to a polish. I just tried to spray the brackets and everything was ok for the straight mounting pieces. But when I started to do the curved pieces I messed up a lil. Just before I started to redo them I looked at the dried parts and realized I was in over my head. Either I picked the wrong spray or I just flat out suck at it. It's already starting to peal in areas. I'm going to leave the parts with the black alone since I'm afraid of that stuff coming off if I try messing around with paint remover.
Simon
Note: Kind of funny that my 100th post is about me messing something up lol.

I bought the kit BeBeep had, and should be getting them in a few days. Looking forward to it, although I only plan on using them if/when I get busted for not having one on the front.
I'll test fit it once it get's here, and take pics.
