I bought the Hood Kit local in the Toronto Area, from Da-Silva Racing, back in 2006.
The Material is Injected Molded Urethane & Fiberglass (According to there website). Being in Canada we always pay more for stuff, and our dollar was a lot lower at the time then the US, so take the prices I paid with a big spoon of Salt

The Hood Kit was $1100 CDN. Painting was another $1100. Apparently the pices needed a lot of prep work. Install was $400. So all in I paid $2500 for that look. It was hard to swallow at the time but I can tell you I never saw another Mustang that had the same Kit installed, like most other hoods.

Here's mine with a Cervini's Concept hood, the hood pin lanyards and wheels are long gone BTW. I've been considering the Cervini's Cobra R hood. Name: 2010_0926010019.jpg

Here's one from the rear after I was rear ended, a month later and I'm still waiting on a CS/GT500 bumper cover.

I can't remember where it came from. It's the '67 style but not a cervinis.

Stefanny , is that the Trufiber hood ? My car's in the shop getting one put on and I was wondering about the heat extractor vents and some posts I've read about them. They say with our cars the water can get into the plug wells and pool there , have you had much of a problem with it not evaporating ?

It is

I started carrying a large garbage bag incase the car had to sit outside in the rain I'll just cover the engine. If you're driving in the rain it evaporates pretty good. I've had to get the plugs pulled and dried a few times. Other then the water thing its a beautiful hood, people are always complementing on.

I'll have new pics to throw in soon. I've loved reading this thread. Didn't realize how many people had the venom and gt3 style hoods. Pretty cool!
