The GT500 clones here look really nice, IMHO. Good jobs all around.
I'd love to do one myself, with the whole shebang- front and rear fascias, OEM wheels, OEM steering wheel and handbrake from the real deal, plus a complete Steeda G-Trac suspension upgrade, Steeda go-fast bits, and other bits and pieces to make it go fast and look good. Ah, I can only dream...

I believe he's still selling the GT500 front end conversion kit. I do not believe he's selling the GT500 rear end or any of the GT/CS fascias but I could be wrong. When I was talking with him about my conversion a couple months back, he had told me bascially the GT500 fascia was priced too high to justify shipping and that it would be cheaper to get the GT/CS fascias through my local Ford dealer than it would be to buy it through him and have it shipped.
If I have misspoken, feel free to correct me.

Ford decided to start offering the CS front and rear as upgrade kits (like he was doing) and priced it so it doesn't make sense for him to do it like he was before. I believe (as stated above) the GT500 front end kit is still a better deal through Kevin though.
Give him a call and talk to him about it.

I picked up my 07 GO Vert GT about 2 weeks ago and just got around to getting pic's so here you go.
GT500 Wing is from KC the front end is from the local Ford Dealer but KC helped with the part #'s.
Here is my website so you can view hi-res images if you’re interested http://scifimodels.com/GO_Vert.html
And here is my 05 V6 http://scifimodels.com/RobsCS6.html I traded in on the Grabber Orange GT beauty.

Just when I thought I'd abondon this configuration and go with just a KR style hood I have to see your photos. Mine will look more like CarPutz but I love the painted front splitter. Did it require a lot of prep work? This means I'll forego the TruFiber hood for the upcoming Shelby fiberglass KR hood. Shelby America will be posting pics after the 18th of June.

The KR hood and lowering springs are next on the list of soon to be mods.

My pony emblem is the driver side pony emblem from the +06 Mustang Pony Package. It came with what I call "tabs" on the back. I just took it over to a buddy's house and had him grind off the tabs as best he could so that surface was completely flat. I then just took some rubbing alcohol and cleaned the area of the grill where I would place the emblem and stuck it on the grille and it's been there ever since. It's been through several hand car washes with a high pressure water hose and it's on there very strong...but the cool thing is that it's not permanent. As soon as I can find a running horse emblem that I can place in the center of the GT500 grille, I plan to remove the Tri-bar pony emblem.
It's not that hard to install...just a simple placing it on the grill, if the emblem has a self-adhesive backing like mine does.

Any issues
Not sure if this is the right place to post this any help would be great. We (my husband and I) are looking at doing GT500 conversion, is there anyone lowered on Eibach Pro-kit springs that are having any clearance problems ( like driveways and speedbumps) want to do this but not wanting the after problems. The roads here in Hawaii arent that great everywhere and don't want to scrape up a beautiful piece of work like this. Thank you for your time. Patrica

I've had the GT500 conversion done on my car and I tell you I am experiencing some clearence issues. I'm still on stock suspension and with the lip kit/air splitter (whatever you want to call it) my front end is sitting about 5 inches off the ground in the front and I have already scraped in parking lots and places with steep inclines turning it. It's the thing that's keeping me from getting my car lowered just an inch to reduce the 4x4 look my Mustang is sporting. I'm hoping when I get my 18" wheel and tires in the future that might help. I guess with anything, you just have to be careful where you drive. I guess if you take the attitude that you're already lowered (when you're not) you'll do okay with the kit on your car.
Hope that helps.
