I just went to another body shop and they said although it may be possible to fit it, it would be flawd. I brought in this picture:
http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s...678_resize.jpg
and the guy pointed out that the bumper doesent fit/look right below the front lights, where he said it curves slightly and doesen't look like a perfect fit....
I realy don't know right now.........

This is a bolt-on. There is no fabrication. As for the picture, either it is literally the picture or the owner needs to adjust his bumper cover. The stucture under the front of the V-6 and GT 500 are the same. You just have to swap the parts. If you happen to live near Charlotte, NC, I will be happy to point you to a good body shop and help you with the conversion.

Thanks.... I'm in MD, Im just wondering from people that have done it what could be some of the fitting issues, because if I get my parts and than go to some shop and thay say: " Sorry can't fit it, can't help you" or charge me alot for extra work than I'd be stuck.......

Oh One Thing! My Kits are Complete! Some have Done the Conversion trying to save a buck and Not Replace All the Parts I reccomend. That could Cause a Fit Issue. It is Just a matter of Proper Component Matching. I have sold probably a hundred of these. They do Fit. I invented this conversion and it is pretty well dialed in and almost installs itself. it is not much more difficult than replacing a mildly damaged standard fascia.

Just like previously said in this thread...As long as you have all the correct parts, the fit is perfect.

By the way this is a very easy conversion to do. Me and a friend of mine did it in about 3 hours. There are some very good posts on this board about doing this conversion.

Smok,

My friend, there is absolutely no problems with doing this conversion. I am a v6'er like yourself and I had this conversion done after my accident with a deer a little bit ago. My Ford dealership (where I originally purchased the car) did the conversion for me and really the only problem they had with doing the conversion was the fact they couldn't stick my pony emblem (designed for the fender) on the front grille like I wanted...so I ended up taking the piece over to a friend's house and letting him grind down the pins so it could sit flush on the grille. Honestly, that's the only problem I had the the conversion kit. If bodyshops are telling you they can't do this conversion...they are seriously yanking your chain my friend. If they have the ability to remove and install factory body pieces, then this should be a snap for this, especially if you order through KC and he'll include all the parts you need for a successful v6 swap.

There has been plenty of v6'ers and GT'ers who have done this swap or had this swap done on their car with no problems what-so-ever. If push comes to shove take it to a tuner shop (if you have one in your area) to have the kit put on. I was strongly considering having a tuner shop in my area do the body kit conversion myself but I held steadfast and trusted the bodyshop at the local Ford dealership to do it and it turned out great.

I'm not mechanically inclined (plus I don't have the yard or area to do this type of thing) so I let the dealership do this. They did this with no problem either and I would think that any bodyshop or repair shop with the basic knowledge of taking off and putting on factory bumpers can do that, then they can do this because really all you're doing is swapping out factory parts.

Good luck man, but don't let this get you discouraged.

I have basically finished my partial conversion, and wanted to share a few images. I need to get the washer nozzles installed, and the rear rubber seal, but I think they need to buff the hood first. Thanks, Kevin! You made it easy for me.

Oh, BTW, that's our cat, "Twin".

Nice Job! Looks like Someone else likes the car too. The Black Bullitts are a nice touch.
