WMS Intake Wire Splicing Option

Ok, more bad news: I just spoke to Dan at Diablosport at 10:30 am pst. He said he spoke to the R&D guys and his supervisor after getting our notes. He said that they are not going to make an extension until at least next year [if ever]. He said to buy the MAF.ia. thing, "which is an extension". I wanted to reply "I don't think so Tim". I might consider that if it wasn't so large or if I was planning on POSSIBLY buying a supercharger in the near future, but I'm not.
I forgot that today is a holiday for some and so I have to call my other contact tomorrow.

What holiday is it now? I know Columbus Day was Monday but . . ???
Yeah, we could use the MAF.ia. as an extension with it set to "pass through" . . . but I just can't justify spending that kind of money with that company for a glorifed "splice".

I was told that they HAVE the parts to make a simple wire and they are planning to do it in the next month or less, [as soon as a week!]
Dan said they do have the things "almost ready to go" except no part number so he can't reference it.

Dang......so close, but now so far away....

Sorry guys, I'm only reporting what they're telling me. I spoke to Caspers again this morning and told Justin that he's my last chance.
He said he still hasn't heard back from his last supplier and that he will push them a bit. He asked me to call back next week, so that's what I will do.
I was hoping to install the thing next weekend... <sigh>

Ok, guys, here's the last of this:
My last contact at Caspers Electronics today, said they can't do the plug for an extension. At best it would be a few months away, so the only "plug and play" solution to extend the wiring is the $180 MAF.ia. translator from Diablosport.
Splicing is the only other option as of now, just as Bob and others have done either using the splice kit that comes with the WMS filter or using a Ford pigtail. That is what I am planing on doing.

I know this is brought back from the WAY dead, but I stumbled across this post on google trying to find a way to do this extension. I read through this entire thread and did a bit more digging. I ended up finding this because of some other links in this thread:

Hopefully this helps you all. I got these in and tested it out. I opted for the extra 2 terminals in case I screwed something up.
