Regarding the above mentioned shift block. Is the $50 dollar block worth the trouble? It's been out a while now, are the people who installed this piece still using/enjoying it, or have gone on to other shifters (Hurst or MGW).

 

For the money its worth it, but see if you can find it for cheaper than 50 bucks. I don't have mine any more but I think I got mine for $30 on ebay. Again, its not a new PRO 5.0 shifter but it does shorten the shift quite a bit. If you have $150-$200 to blow on a shifter get a good one, otherwise this is a great deal.

EDIT: And the saleen block is a VERY easy install. Tacobill did a "How-To" on this site, just follow his instructions.

 

I still have mine installed, easy install and worth the money. Is it like a MGW or Steeda, no it's not but is still reduces the throw by about 30%.

 

I ran that block for a while with no problems. Eventually went to a Pro 5.0 shifter which was great, then a MGW which was maybe a tad better. But overall, the block worked as designed.
