Max NA Horsepower

We're really talking the whole kit, or I was under the impression, I had to swap cranks for this kit because the journal size is different for minimal clearance issues. I've never seen a 4.6 crank failure though, i've seen just about anything else under the sun but usually only happens when someone's doing something stupid or using the wrong part for an application
By the way got these over the weekend, first dyno run max 378@rear, get my new sheets up when I get them.![Thumb](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/thumb.gif)

I would like to be able to tell you but I can't, could be the difference in the dyno's? And the rods are rated at well over a 1000 with the arp bolt upgrade I have, I doubt i'll ever be pushing that in this car though.
And nice Saleen man

They may be. hell they may be just fine at 1000hp, I would run a better rod for anything over 750 but thats just me.

If this rod lets go i'll give you my car
I have faith in it, i've seen the stuff tested against things 3x the cost and out live them, but everyone's entitled to their opinion

LOL coming from someone that has worked at eagle, that's laughable. Do you get the guys coffee? The strength differences in the h-beam vs i-beam have been argued since moses built the ark. The difference is negligible if it's even different at all. And a billet i-beam is going to be much, much stronger than a forged h-beam.

I went to a local speed shop and the mechanic had his fox body in there with a 408 stroker that was putting 608hp and 570ft/lbs o torque to the flywheel. Granite he had a 740 lift solid roller cam in it but they will be building the same exact motor that runs on e85 for me in the near future and yes he was n/a.
