By the way got these over the weekend, first dyno run max 378@rear, get my new sheets up when I get them.

The only cranks Ive seen fail are procharged cars with all that strain on the snout. The crank in that kit is very strong. That crank will take 1000hp but IDK about the rods.

Take a look at the dyno of that saleen, why do the two look so different?

I would like to be able to tell you but I can't, could be the difference in the dyno's? And the rods are rated at well over a 1000 with the arp bolt upgrade I have, I doubt i'll ever be pushing that in this car though.

And nice Saleen man

They may be. hell they may be just fine at 1000hp, I would run a better rod for anything over 750 but thats just me.

Better than my 4340 h-beam w/the bolt upgrade? What do you suggest honestly

they are not cheap but when you think about it when a Rod lets go all hell breaks loose, The Oliver billet rods are what I would go with (and a 2618 piston).

If this rod lets go i'll give you my car I have faith in it, i've seen the stuff tested against things 3x the cost and out live them, but everyone's entitled to their opinion

LOL coming from someone that has worked at eagle, that's laughable. Do you get the guys coffee? The strength differences in the h-beam vs i-beam have been argued since moses built the ark. The difference is negligible if it's even different at all. And a billet i-beam is going to be much, much stronger than a forged h-beam.

I wasn't comparing billet and forged, you claim billet is better i'll respect your opinion, but on a high performance motor a H beam is more beneficial for the fact that in event of a rod failure an H-beam is more likely to hydraulic than an I beam which is more likely to break causing even more serious damage to your motor.

I went to a local speed shop and the mechanic had his fox body in there with a 408 stroker that was putting 608hp and 570ft/lbs o torque to the flywheel. Granite he had a 740 lift solid roller cam in it but they will be building the same exact motor that runs on e85 for me in the near future and yes he was n/a.
