Is the Auto shifter dead. Not showing it at the show is a good indication of it.

 

Nope. Its not dead . But, there is no sense on showing a product we had out there last year in its early prototype stages and have it there again when people have already seen it and we still aren't shipping it yet.. Yes, I am ****ed about it not getting shipped yet either.

 

If you can't get one to the show, can you at least steal us some more product shots? Doesn't matter if it's in a car or not.

wow,almost 2 years since first post..no offense but I'm glad I'm not waiting for this. I would be dead from anticipation

 

i can't believe people continue to wait for this. It is getting preety ridicuous if you ask me. there will be shots of a new stang before this is ever revealed

touche man....its just that I have secretly been reading the thread and at one point I was also intrested, and now just don't understand people (including myself) continue to come back and wait, when t looks like there is no eta or hope for this to come out

 

If they say it's still coming out, that's enough for me. And they have repeated several times the reason it's taken so long (the merger with another company, was one of the reasons) If they were NOT planning on releaseing it, but they still dragging folks out for nothing, that will hurt their name in the end if they don't release a product. So I doubt they are doing it on purpose. :-)

 

I Will Get This Product Released~.

I saw a couple of pics of the TCI shifter, it is pretty sweet and looks good too! I just hope they can keep the price decent on it.

 

is that just a different look to the factory shifter? or does it function different as well?

For us folks with automatics, it's been the only ray of hope that there might be such an answer to our shifters. Ford's disgustingly inexcusable mistake of not creating a tiptronic system for the new Mustang's, while every other manufacturer on the planet is doing so, has left us poor automatic drivers with nothing. B&M's product was the only thing on the potential market that could give us a better AT shifter.

That's why we wait.

Since for 2yrs this continued to be the only thing out there, we continue to bug Chris about it. We have no choice, unless you happen to have a listing of products we could have turned to instead of waiting? If there were other tips/rachets out there, we probably wouldn't carry this thread on so long.

Is that thing released? I'll have to dig and see what I can find about it.
