The shifter doesn't give me goosebumps, but a reasonably priced deep pan is something I want to hear more about...

Hey Sub, will you be selling these directly to us or will we have to go through a distributor, if you are this close maybe you could go ahead and start a new post for those of us who actually want this without all the comments from those who dont.

Chris- I totally agree with Bill. For us loyal diehards who have hung with you from the beginning, maybe a new thread or better yet start putting together an e-mail list. I'm worried I'll miss your announcement when orders are being accepted and find myself aced out.

I'll hopefully be able to start Accepting orders for the shifter in a couple weeks. engineering signed it off on Friday and they are finalizing the bill of materials as we speak. Once that is done, we will submit all the parts lists to the materials locations to get production parts going..Then, I should be able to start accepting orders. I figure orders won't start going out until sometime in Sept. Once I get confirmation I can accept orders I will submit a new post and request emails be sent directly to me for the list to be formed....Chris

The previous pics are the same . If anything changes it may be a teardrop style **** as part of the package instead of the round ball on top

OK I have read thorugh this entire freaking thread and here are some obsrevations:
1) For the love of god someone start a new thread already
2) Looking at this from both sides(I have worked as an eng in an R&D environment for over 5 yrs now) of the coin. I can understand the engineering constraints involved but at the same time if a handle with button is already avaialable with a channel up the front for wiring the OD "option" should be reletively easy to put together for people to purchase. P/N's where I work have different suffix's to differentiate like parts with slightly different characteristcs for example a cable legnth -00 for 50' or -01 for 75'.
3)If there is a **** and a Tee handle with a button and there is multiple needs for different things on that button in different situations why is the base model come with a ****(that looks kinda gay IMO) w/o a button in the first place?( this is sometimes the type of thing I would scream about when trying out new parts)
4)With the IUP why in gods name would anyone want to beable to see the shifters linkage, there has to be a relatively simple way to cover that open slot if not already done that wil be a must for "most" consumers.

I'm on the fence with this mod I'm not convinced it will look up to par with the rest of the car's interior(based on the pics I have seen) and that is important to me in a car I pay 400+ a month for. That being said a Tee handle and some minor improvements I think you have a hit and will I be VERY interested in hearing what people think as it goes into thier cars. With my current mod plan it'll be months before I can afford this anyways but it is something I have been hoping to see. I'm no car or tranny expert so please take my opinions/feedback as nothing more than an objective view on a product I have just found out and about and have interest in.

P.S. Never take it personal you can please some of the people some of the time but you cant please all of the people all of the time. I can understand the frustrtion I saw come out on both sides as I usually am on both sides(Eng and consmer) if that makes any sense

Mike

I'll be interested to see how well it works before making any commitments, believe me I watch new products go out the door all the time and usually thier not all the way ready but close enough to get something to the customer. I see alot of room for improvement on this product as it stands in this thread and I have a hard time believing it wont be improved over time. This doesnt mean I think it's a bad product, just means I'l wait and see.
