Nothing quite yet..We are still trying to sort out the wire harness connector thing. As soon as I know I will advise..That is the only thing holding us up

cant we have both, LOL I think having it work without problems is far better than getting it quicker, still that doesnt help impatience . is there any thought on price, at least a ballpark figure?

 

Are we talking 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 2 months, 4 months? I want this shifter so baaaaaad.

 

Sorry guys...its also a safety issue.. Basically if we release it now without the harness, the unit can be taken out of park without putting your foot on the brake first..so essentially anybody could put the car in gear without the key in and the brake on...A no no for all of us and the NTSB as well...So, hence the problem and necessity of this harness/switch etc...We'll get it!...

 

Also illegal at the strip. Nobody would make it through tech like that.

Any pics of the proto type??? How involved will the install be?? This my be my next mod...

 

Although I'm not a automatic kinda guy... back when I was a kid, the mega-shifter was always one of my favorites...

although i'd never end up with one, a model for the newer cars would be awesome to see....

we are not going to re-paint the bezel, we are going to polish and anodize it. We are still working out the switch detail,so when I have more to advise everyone I will be sure to do so.

Guys...quick update.. We have solved the switch problem!..Now, we need to order new prototype pieces to CONFIRM our findings and make sure all is good. we feel it will be. Also, I will likely be able to post a retail price for you guys next week or so and probably the part # as well. The product itself though will probably not be ready for shipment until around SEMA time though.of course it will be a feature product there. I will post more as I get additional information....
