guaging interest in an auto shifter

Add another to the list...
Been watching this thread with great interest since it started. Thought I'd chime in and say count me in when its ready.
So am I correct in my understanding that with this shifter I can shift it up or down one gear at a time without worrying about going too far like the stock shifter?
Doug

I have been watching this thread for a month or so now and just wanted to thank sub zero for working so hard to get this product out for us. IMO your original design is the way to go because it is more suitable for the modders and gearheads out there. I don't think we are going to have any problem reaching the o/d button when we need it. I think that once you get used to its location it will become like second nature. I also like the idea of being able to change out handles. I would like to see a way to hide the wire. Not real familiar with the desigh of the handles with built in triggers, I assume they are not made to go down the inside of the shifter rod, so making the rod hollow wouldn't do any good unless you made a **** that would support this. The channel may work though, at least it would give the wire some direction so it doesn't spin around on the rod.
I can't wait to get one of these though, no matter what the finished design is, just don't like the factory shifter at all, even with the o/d button on the handle it sucks a$$.

Jackson, I agree. The problem with making the shifter rod hollow is one of strength, as Chris pointed out. Having a channel in front for a line-lock wire would seem to be the best compromise.
Just my 2 cents, your mileage may vary.....

Not to burst any bubbles, but I haven't gotten the green light just yet. I'm sure they're making sure everything works great before they go and install it on car that gets driven a lot. Patience is a virtue! One that none of us share in this case...haha!

This is something I have also been waiting for, I had a B&M ratchet on my 99 GT and loved it. Now my Cobra is a stick but my 05 GT is an Auto.. Add me also! She might be going to SEMA this year, this part would be an awsome add!
Also I am not sure if this has been asked, a lot of pages to go through, but is B&M also building a shift kit for the cars?
