Well, the last major purchase I made, UPS shattered it. It was wooden furniture, and by the time it arrived, it was wood chips. Now with this, they keep postponing everything. They were three days late picking up the first set for return, so I just got my refund yesterday from the quiet set that was sent AUGUST 25th. Now this..........could they be any worse?

I'm sorry to hear that about UPS - I've generally had good luck with them. I'm getting off work early, but I'll probably spend the time fixing a broken window on the Camry...If I'm lucky, maybe I'll be able to install mine on Saturday...have so many chores to do...

I'm kind of concerned now about this 'power loss' issue I hear with some of the Borla/FRPP installs? Is this isolated to GT's with the automatic tranny?.

I would throw out the power loss opinion (no offense intended to the original poster).

That discussion is taking place in the other thread and I made it clear what I experienced. It wasn't a feeling of a loss of power for me. It just wasn't right.

I will say this, why I don't "feel" any gains on my butt dyno, traction is getting harder to come by these days

You're going to love the burble it does when downshifting

If you got the cat back you need to put it up on stands to work the old pipe out from around the axle.

If you got the axle back mufflers ther is no problem getting under enough to do the job without stands.

Yeah...there's more room under there than I thought. One of the bolts on each of the front hangers looks like it's gonna be a beotch though...

For those of you that are awaiting delivery, if yours come like mine did, there are no instructions. Not that it's rocket science, but I downloaded this from the Borla sight since it's basically the same exhaust. Hope it helps.

 You downloaded what?

My system should be here at our local hub already, so I might go up there later and try to just pick it up from UPS. Better than waiting til monday!

Probably has something to do with the fact that I can't say the term I usually use on this board

Ha-ha you guys crack me up

I'm only 160 lbs (all muscle of course ), so I should be able to slide under there without using jackstands or a ramp....but more importantly - how many .01's of a second does that give me over you big guys in the 1/4 mile ...joking of course...y'all have a great weekend.

:bang:   Well, UPS screwed up once again, and my system will not be here until Monday. I am oficially not using them anymore!!!
Oh man, I hate UPS too. They are by far the second slowest (DHL being last). USPS, FedEx, UPS, and DHL (left to right: order of preference to ship with (based on speed, etc.)).

Sorry to hear your troubles...I would prefer more popular automotive product vendors (such as Summit Racing, Jegs, etc.) to use FedEx or USPS.

INSTALLED!!! No skin off my knuckles either. OK, if you're looking for LOUD, you may be disapointed...I'd say they are in between the best and worst reviews, but I like them pretty well, they are for sure louder than stock, look tons better and sound awesome racking down a gear, too. As with most exhaust kits, you may have to wrangle things a bit undear there to get everything to line up right. Wifey said they sounded bad hiney coming down the road!!! Good luck guys, keep us posted!
