Sorry to bump this old thread, but my question was answered last night. Yesterday at the Bradenton Hooter's Mustang Challenge, I saw Zaino in person for the first time. The answer is No, Meguires is not just as good. I saw the difference first hand on TMS's own MTAS's Mineral Grey GT. Wow, did it look amazing. I've passed a few Mineral Grey cars before and thought, 'that's a cool color,' But if I would've saw MTAS's Zaino treated car I would've had to have stopped, drooled , and admired.
I spent 4 hours washing and detailing my car yesterday, and after seeing his car I feel like I completely wasted my time. My Zaino is on the way, I can't wait to get it.
BTW... MTAS, I don't want to steel your thunder, but are you going to post about your trophy winning performance at the show?

I recently put a coat of Meguire's NXT on my Redfire '05 GT. I thought it turned out great. But, seeing as how everone is raving over Zainos, I might have to purchase some of their products and try them out.

I read somewhere that Turtle Wax owns Zaino and has the same wax for less money. I'll try to find the name of it. I'm pretty sure its Turlte Waxes High end stuff.

He meant Zymol, not Zaino. The high end Zymol is good stuff, but the kind you buy at Wal Mart is run of the mill Turtle Wax.

Yeah, and that's enough ZFX for about 20 applications. Only mix one ounce. You'll be tempted to do 2, but you'll only use 1 and then be Zainoing your shower, computer case, etc so as not to waste it. I'd bet I could get 3+ coats from the 2 oz bottle.
