Last time I drove it I hit some bumps and the car hit really hard in the back.
Today I took the rear tires off (car supported on jack stands under the rear axle) and saw that the driver side bump stop was almost touching the body, and the pass side was actually touching.
Not sure why my car sits about 3/8" higher on the left rear compared to the right rear, but it does.
I went ahead and trimmed the top part of the bump stops. Looking forward to driving it again to see how she drives now.
Today I also put new spark plugs in the wife's Shelby, cleaned the throttle body and the supercharger elbow, and tested the boost bypass valve since it was sticking a bit yesterday, making the car run like crap.
For some reason it works just fine again if shutting off the car and re-starting it.
Did the same thing to us at the beginning of last year and after the initial trouble it was fine for the rest of the year.
Hope it doesn't end up going bad cuz an initial search only found them available through VMP for a whopping $80 or something.
Putting everything back together, the throttle body pigtail went on and didn't click, just felt loose.
I fidde with it a bit, the retainer clip breaks off. FML, now I go ahead and redneck a quick fix involving 3 zipties, and go ahead and order a new Motorcraft WPT-948 pigtail, so I can fix it the right way in a few days

Took the car out for a quick errand. Made it a not-so-quick errand 
Trimming the rear bumps stops made a huge difference in the ride quality, she's no longer got a lead-filled *** over bumps.

I didn't lose my clearance until the BMR springs went on.
I'm actually surprised how much lower the BMR's sit compared to the Steedas.

New steering wheel buttons, 111111

better than looking at the old ones ...

How hard is it to change out the buttons? I have 1 that is chipped and it has bothered me for some time.

Simple to change the buttons. Check for videos on steering wheel replacement ... This is the
method that seemed the most common:
In short ...
Disconnect negative battery terminal!!!!!
On each side of the back of the wheel, there are circular plastic caps.
These are seated/pressed into the relatively soft foamy stuff of the back of the wheel, and
they pry out easily (maybe blue tape on small screwdriver, and where you will pry ...)
Remove bolts under the caps - one per side - this allows you to pull out airbag module.
Pull out airbag module a little ... I propped mine on a towel, or seems easy to disconnect
the wires.... always handle airbag with extreme care.
Remove radio button module wiring connector.
Push button assembly to center of wheel, snaps out relatively easily.
Push new assembly into place
Check alignment of buttons, reconnect wiring
Put all the rest back.
Two buttons were $110.70, slow shipped.
I did not notice if new/old were any different in color (like, if you just one to replace one
side, and the old side has been out in the air/sun for a while...).
Also - I replaced the front splash guards -- one broke! Weird. Also easy job.
Next up - spark plugs!

Replaced the fuel filter in the Shelby.
Didn't break anything and the car started, ran fine, and didn't throw any check engine lights when I was done.
I call that success.
Time for some alcohol.

But anyways - Really really really bad iphone pic of a very very very dirty lady. Marilyn came out of hiding yesterday and today - as the weather broke. Drove her to work yesterday and today. I didn't care how dirty she was because I am TWO MONTHS late from driving her. Stupid Iowa weather.
Getting halos redone too - will be a halo switchback (amber) as well.
Will post better pics once she's cleaned up, oil changed, and a camera better than my iPhone.
Crazy thing is - looking at her almost 7 years later - she still looks as good and $exy to me as she did on the day I got her. I love our body style. To think I thought (for a fleeting moment) that I should sell her, maybe?

The Coyote has the fuel filter in the tank, part of the fuel pump, so it's not a regular replaceable maintenance item, like the wife's '08 Shelby.
Last time we had it replaced on the Shelby it was about 3 years ago if I remember right, so just thought it was due.
Now it's been properly entered into the spreadsheet I use for the cars' maintenance.

The Coyote has the fuel filter in the tank, part of the fuel pump, so it's not a regular replaceable maintenance item, like the wife's '08 Shelby.
