What did you do with your Mustang today?*
30$ upgrade end results 1500$ look
Plasti dipped rims and painted calipers yellow to pop a little. Anyone know how to get the center caps out? I didnt take them off before paint today so not as clean as i want around center caps.
Took some pics today and last week...
We'll start with the unedited ones, to show the finish of the paint, Kona in all its majestic glory, and of course, her swirl free paint. And no, it's not swirl free because of washing
(for those of you following that other ridiculous thread… lol). It's swirl free because of proper paint correction, and maintenance.

Now we'll go into the more edited ones…

Thought I'd throw in an interior shot...

My favorite pic of the entire session was a simple one…

Beautiful Car! FromZ to 5
Today - it has been washed and in the garage. So will detail the inside with Chemical Brothers all in one detailer. Wipe down the seats with Chemical guys leather cleaner. If time I will wash the wheels with Meguires using my special tire brush to get out all the brake dust and polish and protect with Chemical Guys WAC303 Wheel Guard Rim and Wheel Sealant. Then do the tires up with BLACKFIRE All-In-One Trim & Tire Protectant. We are going on a small overnight convertible cruise this weekend with about 9 couples. Need Chrome to look her best. I may do a quick once over with Adams detail spray for that extra sparkle. Not sure I have time to do it all but if the husband helps we can get it all done. Wheels and tires will be last just in case as they look pretty good yet.

Took her out to my parents house and let her rip

Finally got the new (gen2) MGW shifter installed in the GF's Shelby, along with the new EPCO ****.
Took a bunch of pics but it's late and I'm not editing all those pics right now, so I only have the one I took as I was leaving the shop where my buddy and I did the work:

. Very nice. I looked at epco too and they have good traditional and classic stuff. Fits the car good. How's the Gen 2? I've had mine (Gen1???) since car was pseudo new. I don't plan on changing it. Should I? What major difference you notice?
That shot is all that matters.

but I think it was mostly the replacement of the OEM middle shaft, which was being re-used with the gen1.
The new gen2 uses a new billet aluminum shaft:
This is what was removed yesterday, a GT500KR shifter that I installed last year:

And what went in:
