Had a "I feel stupid duh moment" with mine...

Working on the clutch cable replacement and after putting it all back I sat for at least 10 min trying to figure out how come the new one was longer. Looked up a picture and realized I forgot to replace the cable in the bell housing until I ran across the retaining clip...

Thanks. Those are original Lionel trains from the 1950s on those shelves. My dad gave them to me as a kid. Besides enjoying my Mustang, I enjoy model railroading as a hobby.

Rain, humidity and just yucky sucky weather the last two days. All I can do is find excuses to go into the garage.

I just had to take the trash out of the garage for trash pick up tomorrow.
Checked out the green machine while doing that.

I can get to my laundry room one of two ways. The shortest and easiest way is through the hall way and down. The longer way is to go to the other side of the house, down a set of stairs into the garage and then down a second set of stairs to the basement. That's the way I go....just to take a look at the car. I even take the long way when I'm not driving it.

As to my activity today, bought a new "Big Red" floor jack/jack stand combo from Pep Boys for only $90! Saw it at the store for $130, but didn't have the right vehicle to take it home. Went home and checked online for coupons, and Voila! The was a 35% off coupon right on the Pep Boys website! Bought it "online" and went back to the store where they put it in the truck for me. Hot dog, I'm going to be changing my own oil now!
Just in case anyone needs a new jack, here's the link: http://www.pepboys.com/product/details/9576492/00240
thanks a lot guys! I have another car show Saturday, so hopefully the weather holds up.

It sounds amazing. And you can tell she's breathing easier. Feels like a weight's been lifted. Got some cheers and screams from nutters driving by lol

For now i've disabled the rear o2 sensors to avoid cels. JLT cai ordered. once that arrives i'll be getting a custom tune from Lund racing.

Took advantage of Lethal Performance's 15% off discount code (EXHAUST) and ordered their 2.75" over-axle pipes just now

Also used their 10% off code (DAD) for the JBA H-pipe that I've had my eyes on for quite a while. 3" to 2.75", should all work together beautifully

Finally got the JLT series 3 CAI and the Brenspeed tune installed; only been waiting to do this since I first bought it back in 2012! Oh boy was that fun to install and DRIVE!!!

While in the garage, I decided to use my new jack and stands and change my oil for the first time in many moons; used Royal Purple 5w20 and a RP filter. What a satisfying day!

What a stunning engine compartment! where did you get those caps?

I took mine for a drive to visit the house builder and do another walkthrough, then off to the lake for lunch and back. Traffic was heavy but i got to do some passing and WHOA...she pulls more than before the new h pipe! and sounds like it too.

Thanks, Darren! Here's the link to those caps I have, they're actually cheaper now than when I bought them, so happy shopping! The seller (PNP Depot)has them in blue as well, just in case you need blue... http://www.ebay.com/itm/191450893631

Glad those H pipes are doing the job, and I just love that hood!
