Took it to a nearby car show put on by the East Coast Camaro Club.
Won 2nd place in the "Personalized Mustang" Class
GF won 3rd place with her Shelby.
We both got there late, registration was between 8-11AM, I got there at about 10:35, she got there right before 11,
so a lot of the votes were already spoken for, and gone to the only other car in our class, a Whippled '07 Shelby GT, the car that got first place.
Guy left before the trophies were announced, so he didn't even get to get the trophy :/
Anyway, here are the pics:

Went on a convertible cruise on Saturday - beautiful day for it. Today set up the appointment to swap out the stock dual exhaust for the Corsa Sport Axleback GT500 Quad Exhaust for Wednesday. Will wash it tonight after the weekend travels and get her looking good for Wednesday!

I Have No Life
Bought these today off of AG, for Marilyn, Tori, and Portia...
2 ULT-8016C - 16 oz. Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ Concent
1 303-30350 - 32 oz. 303 Aerospace Protectant
1 FK-425128 - 128 oz. Finish Kare 425 Ultra Slick Final
1 OPT-900 - 32 oz. Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine
The Ultima product was something I've always wanted to try. Supposed to be easier to use than ONR, plus more slick. 1/2 fl oz goes into 22 oz of water for detail spray or waterless washing... 1 fl oz goes into 3 gal of water for hoseless washing. I do this only when it's dusty.
303 is the end all be all for interior detailing. 'Nuff said.
FK is my all-arounder...esp for removing bugs from my Xpel clear bra, and also as a drying aid, post car wash.
ONR, well, that's a given. It's a must have in anyone's detailing repertoire. I use it as a conditioner too for my rinse bucket.
Can't wait for them to arrive next week!!!

Ultima makes a great product! I used their detailing spray for a while. Good stuff. Pricey, but you how the saying goes,......you get what you pay for.

Took the green machine out for a little cruise and to top off the gas tank. Great night for a drive. I was thinking about it all day at work.
The crisp air after supper was nice for the engine temps.

Today I finally got the upper grille swapped out with the warranty-replacement piece that AM sent me.
It sucked to find that the mounting points have been changed, so I had to drill new holes to install the new piece, but I'm still very thankful that Alex @ AM took care of me the way he did ... love the look that grille gives!
I also emptied out the catch can and then moved on to work on the GF's car a bit ... she's been complaining on lack of traction lately, especially since she can now actually enjoy shifting the car with the new MGW shifter ... so a quick fix was to remove the Invo-equipped Alcoa rims and install my autocross set-up ... 2010 GT500 convertible 18" wheels, with her old 285/40/18 Goodyears on the front rims, and 305/40/18 Nitto 555R DR's on the back.
Took the car for a quick drive, and it's definitely a bunch harder to spin the tires ... it'll still do it without a problem, but now you have to actually try.
