Sportlines now? Wow... Sure going for an agressive drop. The new wheel combo will be a huge make over for the Taco-Mobile!

I'm still working n buying some black silicon hoses for install hopefully next week. Working with someone at Paxton, I'm just now waiting to hear back from him with a $$$.

The Taco-Mobile is going through a midlife crisis!

Amazing.
I think it should be okay to drive, but not too sure what'll happen if you go WFO. Wanna roll the dice George?

Got off the phone with Paxton. Only hic-up I've run into will be replacing the silicon coupler from the s/c to the intercooler. It has an akward 55 degree bend and it is custom fabricated for Vortech with no option for black. Sooo...

But I did get a qoute for the other silicon couplers I'll need. MUCH MUCH cheaper then hosetechniques.com. They actually pulled up your file Bill with your order of couplers. The reps like I have an order that was recently placed I can use it to get yuor order set. I'm like, I know the guy who ordered those, haha.

I'll call tomorrow to see what he found out for me on the bend coupler. If not I'll still go ahead and order the rest black. You cant really see that one anyways...

Another thing.... Bill did all the silicon couplers fit perfect? I remember you saying one may have been too small? Just wondering since the measurements they gave me differ from the ones I got at the shop the other day.

Done. And to post it here also. I painted mine. Hindsight I would only paint the drilled and slotted portions not the entire thing. Big problems when I did that... But after its all done and said. Everythings perfect 3-4 months after the entire install.

Do you think a 60 degree bend in place of a 55 degree bend would hurt? I found a 60 degree bend coupler in black at a unheard of $75! But it is black... Opinions?

Guess I'm famous there; one of the few that requested Paxton hoses to use on a Vortech!

No fitment issues. I thought the hose that connects the throttle body to intake elbow was a bit big, but it clamped down fine.

Got a pic? I'd like to see where it goes.

$75? Welcome to aftermarket silicone hoses!

Its the little blue hose you see from the supercharger to intercooler. Wonder if the angle of the s/c can be adjusted to compensate for the 5 degree difference.

My MGW bezel is on the way and I shipped my SHR bezel out to it's new owner. Total cost of switching back to MGW $5.

Brian-I'll let you know if it works. I'm really hoping it does.

I can't see why not. My blower outlet will be clocked almost even at the 9 o'clock position.
