It will be interesting to see how this runs its course and resolves itself. I sure think Tom has a good handle on this and is close to running this down. I like the BC theory and or the BOV and I'm thinking the balloon is going to tell us there really is a gas leak beginning much sooner then 6 or 8 lbs. Getting GMS to give Tom a new BOV to try may also be the final resolution and fix.
You're doing great Tom, stay the course my friend...................

Rant switch on:
And further more...........................
As you can tell I seem to have taken a vested interest in Tom's turbo thread. No really you say Phil.........................
It really grinds me when Tom spends 6K plus and gets this kind of vendor support. It could be such a win, win for all here. If vendor would just take a whatever it takes for the customer attitude, this could become a show case install/customer for them. The advertising benefit would be incredible.
What could be....................what is reality is posts to the thread that are defensive, condescending and deflective by the vendor in question. Drives me nuts, yep it really does. There are a few vendors here who understand the power of the Net and forums and use it to their advantage. Most are proactive and have enjoyed great benefits from those of us here as a result. Others just don't get it. They would be better not to jump in here and work behind the curtain which typically is the best policy anyways. That keeps the foot in mouth from happening and keeps the laundry (dirty maybe) where it should be, and not in the public.....................
OK off soap box and

Tempted to throw my billet LCA's on my CC and call it a day!
You guys will get spanked.
Me on the other hand, will get flogged!
I'm wondering if I should remove all incriminating vids...
Hey, I'll be taking mine's out this weekend!
I'm not really following that thread anymore. My only concern is that Tom gets his car running properly. And when he does, I'm sure he'll relay that info here.

I still don't think anything is defective... I think a boost controller will fix it.

Hey Leo thanks. Just received the reoiling kit.
Just finished all my finals this week and will hopefully start the brake install tuesday/thursday. I need your help guys...
MGW short shifter... OBX L/T Headers. Which to do next? I'm tempted to wait on the L/T's for a couple months just to read more reviews and feedback. Opinions?

I hope it gets resolved this weekend Tom! I'll reserve my comments about GMS until this is over.
DO IT Bill My wife asked what I wanted, I told her I wanted anything that rhymed with "supercharger" My situation is like yours and Brian, If I want anything for the car I have to buy it myself
Congrats Leo Install party

Haha worse yet he seems happy about it....
I'd say LT's too. They'll give you a nice boost from what I've read, but don't know cause I live in Kali. The Shifter is a nice thing to have I probably would have waited for mine if I didn't have the hurst driving me crazy. It's really hard to say. The MGW is a great, great product but if I could trade for LTs and not worry about smog I would.

You guys are killing me! I may just give in..
Install will happen at Kevin's if you or Brian want to check it out. Will go down on Saturday, 12/22. Planning on starting around 9am.
Leo, get the BMR front loop yet?

Okay, looks like I'll be treating myself to some billet LCA's. But first, got a call into Steeda to see if they'll cut me a 'TacoBill' discount deal.
If no can do, then I'll order it like you commoners.
Here's what they look like..

Why steeda over say BMR, CHE...etc ? bling only or is there a functionality that the steeda set brings that the others do not ?
