So Pros & Cons
I've loved the look of the SSE center fog with stripes. -- pro
I'm quite pleased with the way the car looks now -- con
It looks like every other GT for the most part --pro
can always go back to stock easily -- pro
should be spending the money on go-fast parts -- con

I dunno, what do you think ?
I vote yes Brian. Only because you have stripes. W/O stripes I'd say no. Have you considered the CDC black billet grille? I really like that one.

I found the black Prothane mounts as low as $99.95 plus shipping ($10 and change from one seller) on ebay. link... which is pretty darn good, prices range from $124 to $169 for these things.

I sent them a PM to see if they stock the RED ones. But for this price, doesn't really matter.

Just need to take a ride in Jed's car to see if I like them.

I like the center lights because of the stripes, Brian. I never thought the stripes made that big of a difference, but they do.

My next mod is the lower center grille inserts. My intercooler looks ever-so-slightly crooked and I think these will help deceive the eye:

You can see a big difference by just looking at the thumbnails without clicking on them.

Also - here are some pics from yesterday's parade.

The pic Brian posted is slightly misrepresented. It'd be better if we had a pic with 10" stripes w/2" gap, stock front end w/CDC Classic.
Sure it looks good on that car, but not so sure on a stock front end.

edit: Here's a pic of Rich's (GRYPNY) car with 10" w/1" gap, stock front end. Imagine the gap at 2".. IMO, the fogs look cooler if they were centered under the stripes using the center fog grill.

I'm looking at that one as well (I think Leo is too). For around $60, it's not too bad of a mod.

Also - here are some pics from yesterday's parade.
Looks like fun!
I see that you lead the parade again. No Trooper graphics?

Yep... it looks really good. Another local guy is getting them, too, so maybe we can split shipping!

The emblems are on the door and fenders... kinda hard to see the fenders in those pics.

Thanks for the feedback. I almost posted GRAYPNY's car when I was out looking for pics but found adrenalin's instead. Still I like the way it looks on either. LCAs and a grille will be about the same so we'll see.

Leo... The CDC or the Bullitt grille is another one I'd been thinking about. The big thing for me is that it's to V6-ish (no offense Kyle) looking. Avg. Joe is going to look at my car and think I'm some schmuck that made a V6 look like a GT.

OK maybe it's not that bad but it's the first thing that came to mind when I thought of it.

That does look like fun. Certainly something that would never happen in SoCal.

I dunno about these. I'm really on the fence on them. I've also wondered if you couldn't dremel out the openings on the ones on the end too ?? I don't like how they look blocked.

If I took offense, I don't think I would be friends with Tom.

I think I like the center fogs more on GTs than I do the CDC/Bullitt grille. I liked the Bullitt a lot more before I saw it on cars. Not a big fan now.

Now why do you want or need these Bill? Planning ahead for the Saleen S/C??

Oh I hope not. As much as I hate the front antenna, a rear quarter panel antenna screams CAMARO and CORVETTE
