I don't know if Phil is older than I am, but GRAYPNY used to post here and he has a few years on me.

Yeah, not sure how old Rich is. Just talked to him yesterday, he's getting ready to do the Raptor in the 12V port install.

I think a certain KB might soothe the pain.

I get Roush overload from Brandon Ford. They are a horrible dealership and are the biggest Roush dealer in the country. That and Roush is partnered with the Red Sox of course.

Yeay...I'm not the youngest. If memory serves, I think it was concluded that I was younger than Leo.

Coming home from work yesterday in the '89 on the Turnpike, I was passed by a group of fast moving cars. After they went by, I moved over and sped up. I was already doing around 85, and they were way over 100 MPH. I would let them get farther ahead, and then I took my opportunity to catch up a little (knowing there were no cops up ahead or they would have put brake lights on).

Anyway, I turned my GPS on and check out the Max Speed reading on the top right corner:

I thought I was crazy running up to 120.

How stable was the 89 at that speed?

A little shaky... but almost everything on that car is aftermarket and being so low to ground must help. I never felt like I was going to fly away or anything like that, though!

My speedo is way off on that car. It's a cheap replacement and it twists the cable and is constantly bouncing, so I had no idea how fast I was going. I knew I was over 130, but was very surprised at the GPS when I looked at it later. Think it could have had a brain-fart for a second or something?

It pulled strong though, and I don't have a speed-limiter to worry about.

As long as you were locked on to 3 or more sats, should be dead nuts.

I think you now hold the record in POTR for going the fastest in a Stang.

Well, I wasn't looking at the satellite screen, but it usually has 8 to 10 locked in.

Record - For now!

Just went out to start the '89 and it wouldn't start!

It's just the starter... the solenoid is clicking, but it isn't sending the juice to the starter. Oh well... have a lifetime warranty at Auto Zone.
