On a similar note: great news---"Redline" is coming out on DVD on August 21. I wonder if they will be able to sell 10 copies, which is probably 10% of the number of people who actually saw the movie in theaters.

Man you're too generous.
. I'm gonna rush out and go get that now, just so they can recoup the money blown on destroying an Ezno for a publicity stunt.
stupid hollywood people

Not at the rear wheels silly... at the crank.

So using the RWHP/.85 formula (for Manual S197's), if I can pull off 305 at the wheels, that puts me at 359 BHP!

If ain't outa control, you ain't IN control!!

Can I get in line now for Redline?

I'll give this to them...they made me cry. If might be because they wrecked the Enzo, but still. What a waste!

~350 hp is plenty!

Bill2 is the only one getting the KB around here. In fact, I think his Roush is headed for mod surgery tomorrow.
Well today would have been the birth of KB. However last minute the installer had to push me into next week WAAAAAAAA So I just had to reward myself so I bought some MSD Ford Blaster coils.

look see:

http://www.msdignition.com/2007/fireforfords.html

I read an article about them in 5.0 Mustang mag and it push me over the top I was looking at these about a month ago. Looks like they arrive Thursday. I'll install them Saturday. 8 little piggies on the 4.6 A plus is they are red to match my scheme

Knuk Knuk!

what was it in the article that pushed you over the top. Apart from GMS, and don't get me started on them, I haven't seen anything that suggest that these add anything. Not saying it doesn't exist just I haven't seen anything yet.

Dang Bill! Think you'll have it in time for the next Cafe meeting?

If a KB customer is being pushed back in schedule, whomever is doing the pushing must be a 'big time' customer!

I too was looking at those MSD Blaster coils. I'm also curious what made you get these (besides them being red). Aren't these like +$200?

I think it's more like $400 or more for the set.

Wow, do they provide THAT much benefit?

I'm guessing no. They may provide a hotter spark than the stock coil pack, but what that translates to on the dyno is anyone's guess.

It's probably safe to say that it's more of an appearance mod more than performance, kinda like the cam covers.

Actually I think they help FI cars because the better spark isn't as affected as a NA car. For Bill I think the benefit would be negligible but Bill2 might see better or more consistent performance.

Negligible? What, you don't think the red boot will match my TR?

j/k, these COP's are near the bottom of my list of mods to get.

Just today on ebay, I saw a GT500 replica rear spoiler, painted, for only $130! Tempting, but I'm keeping my eye out for a real FRPP part.

In Brian's defense, maybe the one in purple was his main subject.

(Please say yes, Brian )

That guy really dug himself a hole in the first thread. He could use a little polishing himself in the customer service area. Comes off a bit phony.
