Heck, I'll probably end up getting it anyway.

Any bolt (cad plated or black, not the cheapo silver ones that'll start rusting) that John mentioned will do.

Here's the crank bolt PN# (btw, most dealers need a day to get it, not usually in stock):

I'm pretty sure it's a 18mm bolt head and the Steeda starter bolt is a 19mm head.

No way!
Thanks for the info.
They #*{% you with accessories. Heck my macbook cost went up a bunch just for the "gotta" haves, applecare, backpack, sleeve, wireless mouse..etc, etc, etc

Hey... that sounds just like my Mustang !!!!! and I know I'm not the only one either

WebridesTV.com is having a Mustang video contest. Best vid takes home $1000!

I entered 2 of my best videos, POTR being one of them!

Check it out and rate it, no need to register or anything. They're under 'Newest User Videos'.

Yeah so far it's on. Gonna meet the guy tomorrow morning and might just swap them out tomorrow too. I don't need a tune, right ? I am pretty positive it's just for plates but pullies, shorty headers, DS it doesn't matter

Found a dealer, truck dealer that has 2 in stock. Going down to them, Carmenita Truck, at lunch to pick it up.

Correct, no tune adjustment necessary.

Make sure you don't forget about that alternator bracket bolt. Otherwise, that stud will shred your belt to ribbons and mess up your H2O pulley!

Yeah, I'll look out for that. According to the guy all the bolts are included... but I'm buying the crank one to be safe. Now that I have a printer I can print out your write up !!! Instead of trying to commit it to memory before I start.

Oh, BTW...

CONGRATS on hitting 5K !!!

Good thing. A new crank bolt is NOT supplied with the Steeda kit (or any kit that I'm aware of).

Good thing. I heard your memory starts to go as you approach 40.

Now, what was I talking about?

CONGRATS on hitting 5K !!!
Thanks!

Brian, you could always take the MacBook out to the garage too. Just try not to get those pretty white keys dirty!

Brian, so you won't have to fish for it, print out this pdf file of the belt routing diagram. You'll need it.

Interesting you bring that up. I now wonder who is the wisest (ie. oldest) here in POTR... you? Phil?

And who's the youngest? I'm guessing Leo or Kyle.

I saw a PJ yesterday that was pretty fine itself. I'm not sure I've seen any GO Roushs though. I love that color, I've just grown away from everything Roush. I gotta say, GO is better than the burnt orange color I saw on a new z06 yesterday.
