All the clickity clackity noises are the camera itself - it went nuts when going over any slight bump and even during shifting - I didn't even hear those noises until I watched the videos and I was like, WTF is that?

The first one is coming out of my development. The truck that I pulled out behind was probably going 60, so I hit close to 70 before slowing down. I didn't floor it around the corner, but I did get on it pretty good in 1st - and it would have been next to impossible to chirp in 2nd while already going so fast.

The second one is going onto the Turnpike. I tried narrating, but it's too hard when watching traffic. I was going 60 through most of the long turn and shut it down just around 95. The speed climbs too fast to call out.

The third one is going through another toll booth (I pay $2 each way, but it's so much better, and quicker!). I go from about 30 to right around 80 after the booth once the car gets out of my way! Speed limit is 55 but we all go 65 (80 is a little high, though and cops sit right after that bumpy bridge at the end of the video). I need that Solo S2!

The fourth one is pulling into work before the security gate. I slid it around the corner a little, but you can't tell in the video that much. At 21 seconds, you can see Expedition Everest in the background until it goes off the left of the screen.

looks like the shroud will have to be modified quite a bit. I like the post, just a pic with no info.

Stopped by the local Kragens today to get some paint for my hood strut brackets which I'll be painting sometime this week. While I was there I found the windshield antenna I'd been talking about getting. Cost me $15 bucks anyways here's some pics.

Front and back (FYI the little black thing on the left is to help tuck the wiring away.)

In case you decide to go get one here's what the packaging looks like.

I did. LOL His setup is what I am doing too. I think I will devise something different from the Shaker to the Heat Shield, but the color, the intake and the shaker, just like mine (My filter will be Blue though )

Nice of you to come back to our little group Tony We were wondering what happened to you.
Glad to have you back.

The curse of the decklid continues........

Well sort of. I just got a call from the owner of the body shop who told me he was already seeing problems with my freshly painted decklid this afternoon. So he decided to buy a whole new decklid without approval from the dealership although he said they'll probably pick up the tab and if they don't he would. So now my car won't be ready untill Thursday.
Only thing keeping me happy is the fact that I'm getting a new decklid. The guy at the body shop (Different body shop than the one who did the work the first couple of times.) has been really good about keeping me informed and now hooking it up with a new decklid.

Guys... let's hold a candlelight vigil for Leo until he gets his car back.

His entire ordeal with this decklid and back window is just unacceptable.

Sorry Tom.

Install of the antenna looks simple, but running that antenna jack down to the back of the Shaker deck looks like a pain.

I wonder if the antenna placement will interfere with my radar detector?

Daryl took apart his dash to access the radio. Maybe he'll chime in on the easiest way to get access to the rear of the deck.
